Beware the anti-consumer arbitration agreement!
I receive pharmacy benefits through Caremark and generally haven't had any issues with them. I recently called customer service to answer a question about how my annual medication expenses were tracked and the call went well. I am marking them down because the onboarding agreement/terms of service for setting up an online account require an arbitration agreement with a jury trial waiver and a waiver of class action lawsuits. They require a physically mailed letter to opt out of this electronically executed agreement, which strikes me as incredibly poor business practice and very anti-consumer. I encourage all customers to opt out of the arbitration agreement and preserve your access to the courts if you should run into any problems with the company.
