Given that EXPRES SCRIPTS was the worst in my experience, Caremark mail order comes in close. An Rx for levothyroxine was initiated EIGHT days ago. I live in S. California. Caremark chose it's Chicago, Illinois facility to fill it when far closer CVS CAREMARK facilities were available.

There are so many problems with their algorithms designed to deny or restrict coverage. This applies to many classes of medicines, but our family has had problems with asthma inhalers and medicines for type II diabetes (Rybelsus). Their so-called. appeals process is a joke, and largely a waste of time.

Just got out of surgery, CVS/Caremark won't cover the Prescription. CVS doesn't carry the over the counter alternative as they would rather sell crap that has nothing to do with health. The Pharmacy hours well they are not great. Locations are understaffed so lines are excessive.

My doctor sent the request for a prior authorization of LIDOCAINE 5% OINTMENT on 4/9/24. First time I’ve been told it can take up to 3 days. Next time I called on the fifth day and asked representative Angelica(?) to submit a grievance for such a service. She’s got disconnected. Representative Dan said the process can take up to 17 days. What kind of patients can be satisfied with such service waiting in pain for 17 days?!

Very difficult to get the price of medications. Getting thru their phone menu is a prolonged nightmare. Slow subscription fulfilling. Agent do their best to help, but the sysyem is rotten.
