Cancelled my card before it was received. Too many 1 star complaints. Still hadn't received it when I cancel it. Too many complaints I read about them after approved. Should have done my homework about them before applying for the card. Reviews show they have no customer service skills at all.

Horrible card!!! Paid it off and they closed the account and harmed my credit. Never increased my limit too!!! Avoid!!! Dirty business!! I was with them for years!!!! No loyalty!!!

no credit issued. Large APR if you carry a balance. The company CARE CREDIT was not very caring... Shame on you Synchrony Bank

Avoid if possible. They are very deceptive and charge interest on new purchases. You have to call after every payment to make sure funds are allocated properly between promotional and nonpromotional balances. Micha and manager Kevin Young are rude, untruthful, and would not reverse bogus interest fee. Other credit card companies are more upfront. They are not BBB accredited. Wish I never got this card and they go out of business.

Aspen Dental pressured me to except the offer even though it wasn’t enough for the procedure that I wanted to “help build credit.” Then I realized Aspen Dental charged the account without my consent and wouldn’t fix it so I reported it as fraud. Over a month later I received an email saying I was responsible because I benefited. All my dental work was paid for by my insurance company. I have copies. How do I benefit and how is it legal to charge an account without permission?

I honestly despise CareCredit. I would never use them again. I understand that if you read carefully and pay everything on time it's fine (if you're a Capricorn or something I guess go for it), but they don't seem to want you to. I received my payment notifications consistently the day after, and I called to inquire about it and see if they might think about doing it the day before like any other establishment? They said they could not. To me, it's not about needing to set reminders on your phone or making sure you pay it quick. It's the principle of it all. This is apparently the only option for installment payments for dental? And you operate like you want people to miss their payments? Even after I paid it all, 6 months later I receive an email that they ran my credit to see if I qualified for an increased limit? AND that they denied this increase. Dropped my credit score. I didn't think you even could do that without requesting? So I called and got zero answers. Then they closed out the account. I don't know. I honestly never write reviews unless it's something positive but I hate this place and I truly think they're predatory. When I went in for some more recent dental procedures you bet I didn't use it. You're better off putting it on a normal credit card. Also the billing woman at the office said she personally would NEVER use it. Tells you everything you need to know. Also I just hope this helps someone. Don't end up paying this company back 3 times the amount in interest/fees and don't let this sham of a company drop your credit more. Use a normal credit card, borrow money from a friend if you can.

My man has impeccable credit they make you pre-qualify. We asked for $900 for veterinary they pre-qualified him for 1800. Less than 24 hours he put in his application and they denied him. I just lost my dog due to this cuz I couldn't put him in the hospital. Everything you look up it says Care credit is easier to get than alone or a credit card. Don't believe it. We started going through reviews and we saw tons that say I have bad credit but I got accepted and all these people with good credit got denied and so many people lost their pets because they were denied with excellent credit. The minimum credit to be accepted by CareCredit my man way over exceeded. Then we were reading too see I have a credit card I could renege on all my bills and being collection for all of them but as long as I'm paying my credit card I still have my credit card. A bunch of people said that one little thing on their credit report changed and it had nothing to do with Care credit and Care credit cancel their card and took it away. I mean lots of people. Other people said there was a glitch in the system and it said that my credit report changed and it did not the only thing that was different was that Care credit canceled my card. Now when somebody monitors your card and you're up to date you're making great payments and you're doing everything you should but they're monitoring you and your other bills so they'll take your card away because of it I wouldn't do this I think this place is shoddy. It's been around for years I know a million people itself but I'll tell you what I saw a million reviews and now we just lost her my baby so I wouldn't do it. Date of

I got this card to pay my corgi's vet bills. At first everything went fine, I made the payments. The APR was low and I was paying more than the monthly premium. Then, I noticed that my balance was not going down like it was supposed to be, I discovered that they had suddenly dropped my credit limit from $750 (which I only owed $500 on) to $450, then charged me an overage fee. And kicked my APR to twice what it was. I continued to make payments on time until February 2023 when they suddenly closed my account. No explanation was provided. Then Synchrony started sending me bills. I can go online and see what I owe, but I am locked out of seeing any activity or past payments. Calling them is a total waste of time, all you get is someone who barely speaks English and is about as much help as a dictionary.
