This is the worst company I've dealt with in 50 years. Their customer service is fragmented - agents can do very limited things without transferring. They will not (cannot) escalate your call to get resolution. If they can't resolve, they simply do not care. Usually I was transferred 3 times in each call. I used them thinking I'd spread out the payments on a med procedure over 6-months. Within a week of using them, I tried to setup my online account and login. I received 15 (fifteen) verifications yet I could never get logged on. I called three separate times. Still could not get on to the system. Within two-weeks I received a paper mail message telling me I had been locked out of my account (which I never got into) because of suspicious activity and fraud. Keep in mind, at this point, I'm simply wanting to ensure I "pay" my bill, not use any more money from them. Another week passes and I receive a paper statement in the mail with a by-mail paper coupon. I was so frustrated, I paid the entire $4350 to be finished immediately. Then on Monday, 9/21, I get an email stating if I don't sign up for paperless statements, I'd be billed $1.99-2.99 per month, so I called to explain I can't get into the system to approve paperless statements, and oh, BTW, I've paid my entire balance. Keep in mind, this is a Monday. The agent explained that she could see my check was received and the entire payment was paid in full, but then apologized because the bill was due Sunday the 20th, it was Monday, so I would incur a $30-50 late fee. Granted, my payment was received physically, entered into their system on Friday (business day 9/18, two days before the bill due date - it was the full balance, but "they" hadn't posted it yet, so I was being billed a late fee. This is an FTC Scam - they have probably millions of dollars the accumulate simply by their own unethical billing practices. I asked for an address to send in the fee to just be done - the agent wasn't sure how much it was going to be - I said I'll send $100 just to be done with your company... I had her close the account. I could be on my death bed and would NOT EVER use this company again

I have been a CareCredit customer for more than a decade. I have 3 beloved pets requiring Rx diets and vet care for chronic conditions. I just retired from my social worker career. Paying off debt with 0% balance transfer was necessary as my monthly balance included almost $300 in interest fees for over the last year. 5 days after my payoff the card charged me nearly $300 again on the last statement. When I called to discuss this I was transferred to an account manager who had no heart, no interest in discussing and used the words, NON NEGOTIABLE, repeatedly. All of my gratitude to CareCredit disappeared in a flash. I will not be using it when I adopt new pets. I am no longer an ambassador. Extreme capitalism and usery has ruined this nation and our corporate community.

Care credit rates is outrageous and they charged me almost 60.00 interest and my payment 73.00. My charge card $2,000 and this is getting ridiculous! After i pay this card off and I will be closing this account!

Was told by dentist it would be a soft pull on credit check, it wasn't. I thought it was for poor people but I was mistaken. 33% interest rate. Credit score dropped 36 points in a month, I've never heard of such a drop. Just another scam, preying on the poor who need medical help

FORMAL COMPLAINT REGARDING DISPUTE HANDLING, FAILURE TO CONTACT MERCHANT, AND LACK OF RESOLUTION To Whom It May Concern: I am submitting this formal complaint regarding the handling of a dispute involving approximately $3,000. I have been a customer/client for more than five years, and I am extremely disappointed with the way this matter has been handled. When I originally submitted the dispute, I was required to wait through the stated dispute-processing period. During that time, I was informed that the claim had been reviewed and ultimately denied. However, I subsequently learned that one of the fundamental steps your company represents it takes when processing disputes—contacting or attempting to communicate with the merchant—had not been properly completed. Because the merchant had not been contacted, the original dispute was not properly investigated before the claim was denied. I subsequently spoke with a manager regarding the matter. The manager acknowledged the communication failure and, understanding that the merchant had not been properly contacted during the initial dispute process, agreed to reopen the dispute. I am now on the second dispute process, and despite fully paying the outstanding balance of approximately $3,000, I still have no resolution. What is particularly concerning is my experience attempting to obtain an update. I have contacted representatives multiple times regarding this matter. On more than one occasion, I have been placed on hold and left without a representative returning to the call. I have also experienced representatives disconnecting/hanging up on the call without resolving the issue or providing a meaningful explanation. This is unacceptable, particularly given that I have been a loyal customer for over five years. I am requesting the following: 1. A complete review of both dispute investigations, including the original dispute and the reopened dispute. 2. A written explanation of what occurred during the first dispute, specifically why the merchant was not contacted before the claim was denied. 3. A written explanation of what steps have been taken during the second dispute, including whether and when the merchant was contacted. 4. The current status of the dispute and a specific timeline for final resolution. 5. If the dispute is being denied again, I am requesting a detailed written explanation of the basis for the denial, including the evidence and investigation findings relied upon in reaching that decision. 6. I am also requesting that this matter be escalated to a supervisor, manager, or appropriate dispute-resolution department rather than requiring me to repeatedly contact front-line representatives who have been unable or unwilling to resolve the issue. I have fulfilled my financial obligation by paying the approximately $3,000 balance in full, yet the underlying dispute remains unresolved. I should not have to repeatedly contact customer service, wait on hold without receiving a response, or experience calls being disconnected simply to obtain an answer regarding a dispute that has already been reopened because the original investigation was not properly completed. I have been a customer for more than five years and expect this matter to be handled with the appropriate level of professionalism, transparency, and accountability. Please provide me with a written response and final resolution of this complaint. I am also requesting that all records, notes, communications, investigation materials, and documentation associated with both dispute attempts be preserved as part of the dispute record. I am prepared to escalate this matter through the appropriate complaint and regulatory channels if I cannot obtain a reasonable explanation and resolution. I look forward to receiving a substantive response rather than being required to continue making repeated customer-service calls. Sincerely, John Raymond Moro 813)898-4854
