I had this card for years. But there is a downfall, their promotionals are convenient. But they did not explain that my payments does not go towards past expired promotions therefore interest is accumulating. I have to call them if I want the payments to be allocated to expired promotionals. How is this?

I got care credit card for my dentist appointments as it was going to cost me $5000 and $2500 was out of my pocket which I didn’t have. Dentist recommended this Care credit card which allow me to pay fixed amount each month ( zero interest if you pay off within 12 months) However cause money owning is more than 30% of total bill. After second month, my credit score went down by 30 points. I quickly gathered whatever I can find and paid off rest of amount in one hit and my credit score is back to where it was now.

I've used Care Credit 3 times. The first two times were fine but my last experience was frustrating. Signing up was quick and easy. Important things to note if you are considering getting credit through Care Credit. 1. They are not generous with how much credit they give you. My credit score is over 800 and so I was surprised at the small amount they set as my limit. 2. If you do auto pay, be sure to cancel auto pay before your last payment is due. My last month's balance was smaller than the set amount on my autopay. Had I not called in, not only would they still charge the set amount, they would continue to charge my account each month until I request the auto pay to stop. That is wrong to to me. The auto pay should stop once the balance is met. Instead, cancel your auto pay and then pay the remaining balance directly. 3. The online system is horrible. They make it as difficult as possible to talk to a live person as they can. I already know going into it that I may have to wait a while to talk to a person. Please improve your system. 4. Be sure when you apply for the Care Credit that your provider (mine was my dentist) correctly codes the application. I was supposed to get the 0% interest credit but my dentist miscoded it and I was going to be charged the ridiculously high interest rate. Read your statements. Had I not, I would have missed this and paid way more. Thankfully, my dental office was able to call and fix it.

I have been a care credit customer for years. Never any problems until today. I have two fees on my account but the payments for those months were on time. They are refusing to remove those fees. Just be careful and monitor your account periodically. I could not understand why I was making the payment yet my balance due was going up.

Horrible! 24 month with 14% interest It’s a big lie. I di’d more than minimum payment each month, but, evento the economic crisis come was difficult for 2 time do the payments (i Only pay 2 days after) they closed my account withou any explanation. Terrible and regret
