Was forced to file for this card, my dog was hit while on leash right by my side. Took to ER vet, paid 8000.00. Neurologist wanted 10,0000 before looking at our baby. Found out our bank Customer Service closes 2pm, was Sunday. We wanted them to perform the mri while we went home to get cash. Handed cash to NeuroVet, we cancelled the card come to find out that vet charged that card. We’ve made multiple attempts to pay it off, get confirmation payment goes through, receive 2 emails confirmations, then they put charge back on. Since we closed/canceled the card, Care card never should have allowed to vet to post a charge a day later. Totally SCAM. Was on the phone with a supervisor who barely spoke English, still said wrong acct #, etc but I had my bank on the line with them and said it’s the correct account/routing and debit numbers. We tried both with these idiots. Please be careful using this company.

CareCredit is awful! The only benefit is that they do offer 12 months no interest if paid in full. If you don't pay it off in that amount of time be prepared for them to rape your wallet. They will constantly change how much money you can borrow on a monthly bases. I started at $7000 and now I'm all the way down to $1000 based off my credit report. This will change without you knowing. The interest is through the roof! I am know in the negative due to the interest they are charging me. I stopped offering carecredit to my patient because of my personal experience. DO NOT DO IT!

Beware when using Care Credit! If you have promotional balances, they will use your monthly payment to pay down the lowest balances FIRST before applying the payment to the balances expiring soonest. So, if you have a $2000 promotional balance expiring in 6 months, and a $600 promotional balance expiring in 12 months, they will use your monthly payments to pay down the lower balance first. Makes no sense! WHY would you want your balances expiring at later dates paid off first!! You can't change this either! You have to call them every single time you make a payment and TELL THEM how you want the payment applied! This is crazy! I will be paying off my balances and never using this card again!

I wish I would have come to this site before I had applied for this credit card to assist my daughter in paying for her wisdom teeth when she was unable to provide dental insurance. I had a payment date set up for processing and this credit card that I used for processing payments I kept enough funds to regulate my budget for payments that were being processed for credit cards and they would never pull the payment on time on the selected date and which I do not understand why you would have a selected date for the payment to be processed and not process the payment and then you want us cancel our cards saying we cannot utilize them because payments are inconsistent when in fact they are the onestaking payments inconsistently. This is the worst credit card and now I've tried to reconcile to pay this off and again they will not process the payment on the date that you select for the payment to be pulled on and now it's being sent over to a credit collection. Which I will never suggest anyone use Care credit and it's an all of the doctor hospitals veterinary clinics this is a scam it is an organized and inconsistent as stated in other reviews I have seen.

I would give a zero if I could. The worst. I applied online and was approved. When I went to the eye doctor, neither the eye doctor nor I could get the supposed virtual card to open up and provide the full number. Called customer service and another joke. Customer service said, sorry we updated our system and you now have to have the full card number and that you have to wait 7 to -0 business days for your physical card to arrive in the mail. That does me no good today, I have to pay today. I told the customer service forget it, just cancel the application today and remove the inquiry on my credit report. The customer service agent was not sure she could do that and had to get another representative on the phone who said they could only cancel it. So, contacted the BBB, this is false advertising, says if your instantly approved then you can use the credit instantly, what a lie. Update your website

Put it this way. They said I made a late payment 2 days late back in 2023 while I was in the hospital for over a year with a stage 4 pressure sore. They were charging me interest fees since then. I told them I was in the hospital and recovering and was late. This is the only company that doesn't give you a grace period. Every other company as well as my mortgage, electric, water, and other household stuff as 2 other major credit cards I have a grace period. And since I am a Quadriplegic disabled Veteran in a wheelchair with now stage 4 pressure sore, and on a fixed income, I went from a $2000 dental bill in 2023 to over $5411 now. And they now blocked me out of my account where I have to call it in to make a payment. Which today on January 3rd 2026 was on hold for over 2 hrs with 3 different agents from India. Which I think is a scam. Whatever happened to customer service in America. All these Live agents are rude hang up on you or transfer you to someone else since they don't want to take the time to help you. They will never help you to fix the problem for that 2 days I was late for. And told me I should of paid it on time (even though I was in the hospital and can prove it as well). Please stay away from this company!!!! They are very much a scam company. I just don't understand why this company still exist after many complaints to the BBB has been reported by many victims that have been scammed by this horrible deceitful company!!!! Please be advise and STAY AWAY!!!! And if Vet Hospitals, dental hospitals or other companies tell you they use them cause you can't come up with the funds, just tell them HELL NO I don't want to be scammed

This company is inconsistent, unorganized and sounds like a SCAM!!!! I’ll pay a bill real early and call to make sure I’m good and on time, I’ll check two weeks later and see extra charges on my card, I’ll call them up , and speak to a so called manager, and they tell me, I was charged for insufficient funds, MAKES NO SENSE!!!! Pay as quickly as you CAN, It’s sorry to say how companies like this one takes advantage of who ever gets involved, STAY FAR AWAY FROM CREDIT CARE!!!!!!!!!!

Care Credit charged me $2900 on a $1100 balance, saying it was interest owed that had been deferred. They said they had sent me notices. They had not. They said it was on my statement; In VERY FINE Print, that I had to search for twice. I understood the interest wasn't deferred but removed. I had been paying off this account. Now I will be taking out a personal loan to pay off and close this account. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CARE CREDIT. THEY ARE VULTURES.
