Listen to the other reviews and do NOT use this site. It’s overpriced and they will charge you every 3 months. This company preys on busy people and their scam is the hope you forget your subscription or you don’t understand it isn’t a yearly subscription. As a newly disabled person who was diagnosed with a condition that left me in need of a caregiver, you have so much stuff to handle it is easy to miss details. This company has no empathy and will not refund your money even if you call the day after being charged. There was no warning email that I would be charged! I have been trying to reach a supervisor for over 2 weeks and nothing. This company will not make your life easier during tough times. Please looks at other avenues and don’t give any more money to this scam of a company

Words can not describe how angry I am with this fraudulent company. 15 months ago I signed up for a single month subscription, only to discover months later they had continued to charge me every month. I complained as soon as I realised and rather than apologising and refunding me for their error - Jon said he would downgrade the account to make it free. So no reimbursement whatsoever. This was bad in itself but actually the reality was worse. He carried on charging me £29/mth, even though he specifically said I wouldn’t need to cancel the direct debit as this would all be done by them. So now it transpires that they have charged me £464 for what should have been a one-off £29 single month subscription. Customer service is literally non-existent and the only person that eventually contacts me back is the fraudulent person himself, Jon. He has the audacity to say that their subscription charges are non-refundable, even though they should only have taken one singular payment of £29 (and I have their original invoice to prove this). Money has never been tighter for my children and I - and I need my money back.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Horrible, dishonest company! Run far away! They are thieves and will take your money without actually providing a real service that delivers results and continue to charge you each month even if you try and cancel.

I have not been able to cancel this service - I have sent several emails and left messages on the 1800 number' Each time no one has responded they keep charging my account. I am extremely disappointed. I intend to take this further with consumer affairs.

I wish I had read this before signing up!!! I signed up for a premium account used the service to find a housekeeper and then after I no longer needed the service, cancelled the service. THEY KEPT CHARGING MY ACCOUNT $61.40. I cancelled online and they never processed the cancellation. Once they get your bank account info they will drain your account dry. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

If I could give this company a 0, I would. I wish I had read the reviews before signing up with them. There is no way to contact them about your account. The only way I could get in touch with someone from care.com was to file a complaint with the BBB. My issue still wasn’t settled and they continued to charge my account even after I told them to cancel. Their response was that I would have to go through my bank if I wanted payments stopped. I’ve never had a company tell me that before. Do not trust care.com.

I have renewed my rating for these people. I was surprised to be personally telephoned after I made my first review in which I showed disappointment in not being able to use my American Express card. The company are reconsidering this matter and have also offered me a small gift for bothering to write the review. The lady who telephoned me was very considerate and this is a company that I shall definitely use again.

Our care associate is the best thing that has happened to our home. She not only completes her duties in the home but goes the extra mile. The companionship she provides is in valuable. This is rare today that someone in her position has such a big heart.
