This is another shady subscription deal. They start debiting your account for money without any notification. If you're looking for a one month search for a babysitter or caregiver, it won't happen. Also, there's no option of putting your account "on hold." You will have to start over. They used to force you to call to cancel your subscription. I guess they received too many complaints from busy people because you can click "Cancel ..." now.

** Seniors and Consumers Beware ** This organization has the least regard for privacy and protection of seniors. It requires senseless information from you so that they can resell publisher or disseminate for money your personal information when all you wanted to do was to get price quotes for services for seniors from company's you may not even choose or want to do business with! Multiple back-and-forth with this company shows a complete disregard for privacy rights security and protection of seniors today which is a critical problem. I would not use this organization I would run from any attempt to sign up for this organization they diss value seniors they do not protect or secure your information and are only doing this for profit run from this organization.

I am trying desperately to cancel my 1 month subscription- knowing that they plan to charge me for another month, i have contacted my credit card company. i may even cancel my card because i cannot get care.com to respond to emails or phone calls. I have received many good positions via this platform but cannot recomment them because they are impossible to communicate with!!

Fraud, fraud, fraud. Claim to be a free service with a basic membership. Then somehow upgrade you to a premium membership with automatic renewal and bill into infinity. Worthless. Fraud.

I tried signing up to offer my services as a qualified teacher at a discounted rate but I kept getting rejected because my last name is too short. Many Asian names have 2 letters and the fact that a company doesn't even allow one to sign up due to this is straight up racist. I wrote to them to explain that my last name is indeed 2 letters long. It took them a week to even get a response when they say itll take 24 hours. They then requested that I prove my identity but they don't ask this if your last name is longer than 2 letters? Really shocking policies. Will not be joining as a result of their lack of cultural competence in 2022.

Unless you can sieve upwards of $18 and up per hour Don't waste your time or money. There is no cancelation of a membership OR cancelation of MONTHLY CHARGES if the service doesn't work for you. It did not work for me. Babysitters I contacted ghosted me. I can't afford luxury baby sitters. The site did not offer rates until I signed up and paid. Most other business or service would stop a subscription as this practice is good business and serves as a way to present themselves as a company that "cares." Care.com does not care. As long as they've hooked you in a subscription and deposited your money, they're good. Again, not recommended. If you're out of town, ask a concierge, they often have a list of names. If you're new to a city, call your local church/ synagogue/ mosque or your ymca. There are other sources, HOWEVER, they may not have all the "certifications" that care.com has. In the end those certifications have been no help.

SCAM!!!! So fake. I have been on the site for a while now and about 80% of the jobs on there are fake. You will not get help from any of the so-called workers. They will ask for your info and gain access to your profile page. I have had the so-called workers make changes to my page without my consent!!! ALLSET
