Terrible experience. I was a full time nanny working with parent with some very difficult demands that became so hard on me as a nanny I had to leave the job. Very difficult for me. I just loved the little toddler I cared for. She was unreasonable with certain expectations. Care.com had received a very angry message and complaint about me. I have an impeccable background but was then kicked out with my account from Care.com. I logged in and couldn't stay with this website because they let a deceptive person ruin me on here. I created a new account using all my correct information trying to use my other email account thinking I was locked out or something. No, I am banned from Care.com permanently. Customer service heard my story and said So Sorry but we cannot help you. Today one referred me to an attorney. Unbelievable!!!! I have much more to worry about than such an awful website.

Unclear and fraudulent charging of peoples accounts even though they only sign up for one month of service, not a monthly service plan that is reoccurring. There are hundreds of complaints on BBB regarding the same issue, yet the company did nothing to resolve my pleas to refund my money for the 3 months I did not authorize. They didn't send a single email, or receipt stating they were going to charge my account, nor did they notify me after charging my card. It is 100% a scam and they are stealing peoples hard earned money. Their team does not try to help at all, there is no customer support phone number, they will only speak to you via a chat box with re-fabricated responses. When they actually respond without a cut & paste, they are rude and refuse to help.

After 3 years of being a premium member as a caregiver, I have found ZERO clients/families to work for. I am a certified nurse assistant of 10+ years, with multiple certifications and have worked pediatrics to geriatrics, ICU and even Emergency Rooms.. to be honest, anyone with a high school diploma can become a "caregiver" in a matter of a few days and online classes, as a Patient Care Technician with more schooling and hospital qualifications and experience that I've had, a lot of times I think I am overqualified for most jobs which is why i'm astounded that it's impossible to find work on the site. I truly think most of the families and postings are "bots" and not even real people/clients. I see a job posted that same exact day.. I apply for the job, they don't answer even though their description says they desperately need people immediately. Then after about two or three days, that job disappears. I doubt they found people to fill all 7 days in that short period of time. Weeks later, the same exact post will show up with the exact description saying they need a caregiver immediately, I apply for that job again, and once again they do not reply and the job disappears days later.. This happens all the time! I thought maybe I just need to keep looking, maybe if I pay and get more badges etc. to look more appealing i'll find work, nope.. complete waste. I have applied for many jobs and the families never reply which makes me think it's mostly a scam. Absolute complete waste of my money and time. I feel bad for the real families that are actually looking for "CARE".

They won't tell your account is removed unless you contact them, and keep charging the fee!! I am using their UK site. I registered and paid my fee to be a member. I am looking for many helpers for my homework so I keep sending messages to many people. However, they removed my account secretly, probably I am sending too many messages?(100+). To be honest, there are not many who reply, probably majority of the profiles is inactive for very long or even, fake profiles. So, I contacted them why I did not get many replies, they just send me a automatic email saying my account is removed, no explain at all. They won't tell me that, unless I ask, and they will keep charging me the membership fee even I could not use the site (because my account is secretly removed!!). Why remove account when I paid for sending messages? So please avoid this site, they have secret rules for users and they won't allow you know that. Not many live people on the site anyway. So, don't use!

Impossible to get a refund. I requested a cancellation on my account and requested a refund which has fallen on deaf ears. One response was sent as a generic note then nothing.

Care.com was adequate when we used them. However they have charged our account a half year after closing the account out. We have an email showing the account is closed. Terrible. If you setup a card, remove it prior to canceling or be ready to dispute when they take something out the following year.

SCAMS & FRAUDSTERS! They claim you can cancel anytime but they will still bill you bi-weekly for the entire one year period. Absolute worst scam ever! STAY AWAY from them!
