Hello Care.com; I am a really angry customer and I am posting anywhere people will listen. I subscribed on 3/9/2025 and paid $40, and created the profile under me (Scott Ives). I tried to change the screen name to my wife and I and it did not save, but when my wife tried to log into the app it said we needed to verify; this has been almost as long as we have had the subscription. I never logged out of my phone so I still had access but I found and hired a nanny and wanted to use home care for the pay part but I can’t use it because I have to log in again to Care.com. Today I found I could chat and got to chat with Allen C. Who told me I needed to wait so I asked for a number I can talk to a person and he said “you can find the number on your statement”, and I informed him it’s through Apple and I did not see it, he again repeated its on the statement. I ask “so you are refusing to give me a number to your company”, and he said he can’t but it’s on the statement. After 30 minutes and me asking for a number, Allen C said he would escalate it so someone will call me. I have a spam blocker so I cannot be sure I will receive the call and I will be in the same situation.

I signed up for an annual membership for around $167. Then I found out they added an additional $264 hidden charge. When I reached out to customer service the rep gaslit me and canceled my account while refusing a refund. So now they have charged me nearly $500 while providing no access to their website.

Deborah was amazing! My kids had so much fun with her and are asking when they can see her again. She had plenty of activities for them to play with. This was our first time using care.com and Deborah exceeded our expectations. She made us feel at ease knowing she would take great care of our children. She treated our kids like her own family. I would 1000 percent recommend Deborah to anyone for their child care needs!
