I created a login with care.com to seek a caregiver for my elderly mother. Once I signed up, I had several caregivers respond with interest then I was requested by care.com to review those caregivers I must pay a premium membership fee. Then supposedly if I hire someone, there is also a booking fee. I have question several people regarding this company being a scam and have been instructed to get all of the complaints and the people who complain and join together in a class action lawsuit for fraud, not living up to agreed membership benefits, and there was a list of other things that the class action lawsuit would cover.

I am currently under contract with care.com with my early education center. I am very dissatisfied with this method of advertisement. I receive “leads” for potential enrollments and most that I call have no interest or have not inquired into my school on the site. I am under contract for $300 a month for a year. After 4 months with zero enrollments from care.com leads, I began to ask questions. Each agent I spoke to gave the same rote answer. I followed each suggestion. I was even given a month free and I was grateful. Fast forward 2 more months, zero enrollments and I knew this platform was not a good choice for my school. I have requested to be released from the contract. I have received nothing but negative experiences from every agent I have to speak to. I know someone in the company, a billion dollar company, can authorize a release of my contract but they refuse to even consider it. The answer from every agent is, you signed the contract , you are legally bound. This is completely true, and I have simply been asking for some consideration and grace to be released, due to the fact that this platform for advertising has yielded zero enrollments to my school. I recommend to all families looking for childcare, call the facility directly, don’t use care, they are not a good company.

Accidentally sign up for a one year membership, my Apple Pay got charged $155.88 before I could blink. I canceled immediately, but not able to get a refund of any kind. Customer service is terrible, and can't even find a phone number easily to talk to a real person. Avoid like plague if you don't want your money stolen!!! UPDATE: Care.com is still avoiding in providing me even with a partial refund. I have replied to their support ticket numerous times, responded by the end of the 1st month and they have completely stopped responding. They're message on this platform is a joke, they clearly do not care about their customers or their reputation. I found an article online on FTC website titled "FTC Takes Action Against Care.com for Deceiving Caregivers About Wages and Availability of Jobs on its Site, Impeding Cancellation Process". Please read before you do any biz with them. UPDATE 5/1/25 - RETALIATION: Finally got a hold of their customer support via phone (by the way here is a phone number, since it's not posted on their site 737-202-3114). I was told that since I started a dispute with my credit card company their supervisor has denied any refund. Initially they offered $117.88 out of $155.88. I have asked the customer service rep why they would change their mind on providing a refund. It's now become a retaliation. They are absolutely the worst company I've dealt with in my lifetime.

I believe this company is giving me the run around about updating my billing information for some apparent reason,They keep telling me to update my billing information and I already did that at their request on the steps they have provided and when I reached out,One of their agents personally asking me,Do I have a client already? I find that very odd to say the least,But however they are not letting me in and they feel there is nothing wrong with their website ,if that's the case,? Why is it telling me to update the app which is a upgrade,And that's taking me into circles as well,Seems to me they are running something secretly going on that we don't know about, Because as I can see they don't have a good rating at all and I'm going over to the bbb also and add my rating their also. Even though you've contacted me back, That doesn't change anything I am on a mobile phone, it is still the same, Nothing's changed

Sharon was fantastic! She is punctual and so very nice. I only needed some one to keep me from falling so for a good chunk of time we just sat at the kitchen table and chatted while I while I worked on my paint by numbers kit. She truly enjoys what she does and it comes through in her care. And I didn’t fall so she met the primary objective of the job!

I found the process of finding a caregiver for my elderly mom quite easy, once I figured it all out. I feel like I have found the perfect match for her & she’s great about communicating with me. Mom really likes her!

Was trying to find a babysitter around the Louisville area, We paid the year subscription which was very expensive. The only inquiries we got after we paid were fake looking nurses with fake accounts that all said the same words like a bunch of bots. I know for a fact they weren't real They couldn't even give a phone number because care.com don't allow it or because the fake bots don't even have one. And none of them replied when I insisted on meeting up for a paid interview so that I could get to know, screen, and do some background on who comes around my kids, Don't trust this website, so we did not get a babysitter at all.
