We paid for the premium membership late last night, hoping to get a caregiver out for my mother today. Instead, I had a notice that we've been removed from the community after they took our money & refuse to refund it! No explanation, of course. I finally got someone on the site to "chat" & found out we switched from my name to my husband's name for payment & that was enough to throw us out! REALLY?! And no one can help us! And we're out money, my mom has been alone for 24 hours, my dad is in the hospital for who knows how long, & I've just been scammed by this company! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!

Overall, it's a great service. I love that they do background checks on every caregiver. I don't trust other sites because they don't background check and I worry about bad people watching over my daughter.

Stay away from this company. I paid the whole year membership and after 2 months I got an email that my account is not according to community guidelines without explanation what exactly is wrong. For God's sake, this a babysitting and housekeeping service website that connects people. What guidelines are there to violate!? I have never seen behavior like this from any company. If something is wrong, then civilized behavior would be to let the person know what needs to be corrected and give time for it to be done. Not here. You are treated like an intruder. Update: They let me know that the problem was the discrepancy of my nick name that I used to open the account with my legal name which they could have done before closing the account of a paid member. I find it strange to go through such a hoopla and close the account when this could have been simply discussed without any drastic unnecessary measures. Nevertheless, they did reestablish the account albeit the membership fees are refunded. So now, I need to pay the membership again if I wish to use the service. Again, it was an unnecessary hassle. I'm changing my experience from one star to three.

I was insulted by a potential employer and was extremely upset. I chatted to a Care agent In the chat and they only copy and pasted stuff already in the website so no he’ll at all. I then proceeded to report it to Care and never received a reply and upon chasing it up I still never received any sort of reply. This is appalling customer service and poor protection.

If I could give a zero I would. They have sneaky rebilling. They send zero emails to your personal inbox about a renewal bill and don't even send communication to you care.com inbox. Such bad business practices. If you're considering using their service RUN in another direction. Horrible customer service.

My account access was suddenly removed. My sister and I are desperately seeking additional caregiving for our parents. I do not know why our access was removed. This occurred at the end of a business day before the weekend. There seems to be no way to connect with customer service. We are in a very precarious situation needing immediate support. I am furious as we have paid for this service and have access removed for no apparent reason and no way to resolve. I received a reply on this site that said to reach out to the care team, which I have done, but I still have not received a reply.

Charges fees for doing nothing. These are all independent contractors who accept the jobs and then never respond to your emails. Then Care.com books them without telling you and they don't show. Then you get to fight with Care.com to get your money back. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE.

This site is a scam. They make you pay for a subscription first, then after that their crappy software has to "verify" you. Well, surprise...there was an issue and the verification failed. Now you've paid and can't use the site... you can try waiting for a chat agent and by the time they answer you've wasted all your time because they can't help you, they just spit back pasted policy to you.
