Care.comReviews of care.com

Best app for part-time work, if you are professional in the area you apply.

Quick response to requests and fully helps to resolve any issues I might be having! The only reason I didn't give 5 Stars is because they moved only to the mobile app without clicking the box to allow the app to run on my desktop - when they do, I'll give a 5 Stars for sure! Edit: changed from 4 Stars to 1 due to their response - doesn't appear that they're going to check the box to allow the mobile app in the Apple store to be used on my desktop - the mobile apps run fine on my desktop - will edit again if any change

I like the ability to connect to a bunch of opportunities, but they are not reading the posting, so you spend more time sifting through the noise of applicants rather than interviewing.

Celiah was caring and took excellent care of Lady Poppy, a new arrival rescue dog. I was afraid Poppy would be stressed but she was great with Celiah. I received pictures daily of her walking outside with her sweater when it was cold. She made sure Poppy continued to adjust to her new home. Celiah checked and made sure I got home safely after she left. I will definitely ask her to sit again!!! She is awesome!!

Jacqueline was absolutely amazing. I can’t say more good things about her… She worked with my dogs, all three of them, sent me pictures every day of either silly things they were doing or doing their business. She addressed to problem issues that came up in the two weeks I was gone, and just did a stellar job. And she left my house spotless as well. She’s amazing and I can’t wait to hire her again.

Erivalda asked me what times are convenient for me and I told her mornings or early afternoons. I can also work around her schedule, but she never responded. She did say she charges $35.00/ hr and I thought it was $25.00, but I still wanted her.

I used this service to assist me with finding someone to help with my aunt. I found someone and canceled the service --- at least I thought I did. I was charged 3 more payments before realizing that the account was still active. Mind you, I received no billing emails or anything, so I thought I was good to go. I contact them, and they tell me this is a nonrefundable agreement. YES! This is why I canceled! There is obviously nothing in the agreement that suggests system issues could be the cause of overcharging. So yeah, be prepared to waste money when signing up for a subscription. Terrible!

Care.com has been consistently supportive in connecting me with families who are seeking a caregiver for their children or their senior family members. I've appreciated the guidance and tips they've provided to help me establish best practices in this field. I've had many positive experiences with wonderful families, and in the one case in which I had an unreasonably difficult client situation, they had my back.
