Totally awful experience. Everything that comes with the chase sapphire reserve card has been great except when it comes to travel delay insurance. They have the more bizarre criteria of what delays can be filed: 1. Equipment failure (technical or mechanical failure do not qualify). 2. Strike 3. Inclement weather 4. Hijacking or Skyjacking 5. Crew not being present due to the previously mentioned factors. It doesn't matter that you're stranded at the airport overnight as a delay in the first flight causes you to miss your connecting flight and need a hotel to spend the night. Chase should totally find another company to administer their travel insurance!

Awful, they don't tell you why something they asked for that you provided was invalid. I've had to call them multiple times, despite them saying they would call me. They run you in circles, and it's been over 2 months of me trying to get a claim for a flight that was canceled due to illness. Ridiculous that someone needs to pull teeth to get their refunds on something.

Terrible experience. They run you in circles, request endless information, don't answer emails or inquires. Waiting for you to give up. Such a disappointment

The call center staff has been unhelpful, the examiners have requested existing documents that are clearly present in the claim, and it sounds like the computer software supporting this enterprise is from the 1980s. Every time I called they recognized their mistake, apologized profusely, then turned around and made an almost identical mistake. Your credit card provider has a contract with Eclaimsline, so you don't have a choice, otherwise I would recommend not doing business with them.

Wish I can put 0 star for this company. Worst customer experience, completely broken system, asking for the same document more than 5 times. You can only get hold of Customer Service on the phone, when promised that the examiner will call me, I never got the call. Felt like I was dealing with fake examiners (Computer) who emailed me all the time asking for a different mixture of documents that I had sent multiple times. A simple trip delay claim (caused by the biggest Typhoon in the history of Asia) took me more than 4 months, dozen of emails and 5 phone calls, to get only 60% of what I had claimed and entitled for, without any explanation. They even asked at least three times for proof of airline's cancellation for the date of the biggest Typhoon in the history of Asia, on the airport near the center of the storm, where all flights were cancelled on that day. Even the most incompetent would have figured that out by a simple "google" service. I got too disgusted and don't want to waste more time to pursue this. This is System built NOT to cover your claim, AKA, a total scam. Shame on Chase Sapphire Reserve to use this kind of terrible service for your customers. I am going to cancel my chase card when the card is due.

This company is a scam if your credit card offer this service don't even bother,all they will do is ask for documents that don't make sense in order to keep you waiting, and they have the worse customer service

One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Separate departments that handle customer interactions and those who actually handle the claims. Have gone through 5 revisions over 5 weeks, with 5 different claims examiners each time. Every single examiner has identified a "gap" that when I call in, the original support line sees in their documentation. This starts the week long delay process over again. Totally useless. Attempted to contact Chase directly as they utilize this service as a "benefit" for their premium Chase Sapphire Reserve cards but to no actual gain.

Delay after delay for very simple reimbursement. My connecting flight on 12/26/2018 was delayed for 24 hours due to weather, and I booked a hotel room and paid for a $20 dinner. I jumped through a lot of hoops, got emails certifying the reason for delay from the airline, submitted itemized receipts for the plane tickets, hotel, restaurant, etc the first week of January. Every Friday in January, Eclaimsline requested additional documentation even though it wasn't relevant (e.g., how was I related to the other person on the airline receipt, etc; despite the claimed amount being well under the maximum for 1 person). I called in February, and the customer service was nice but made no updates. I called again in late March, nearing the 100 day-mark beyond which they can try to avoid paying out any claims, and again waited another week with no updates. I don't believe they will ever pay.
