My claim for an expensive trip cancellation was paid within 30 days of filing. The times I called for clarification or follow up the reps were excellent and when I received emails for follow up documentation I also received a call to see if I had any questions about it. Just make sure to have all the documentation in order and it’s a legitimate reason with proof.

The Chase Sapphire Reserve card is very worth the annual fee when one considers the benefits and peace of mind. I recently had to miss a trip due to an unexpected medical issue and filed a claim for unreimbursed trip expenses. The claim process was straight forward. It took me a while to get the claim information from the resort and the forms filled out by my physician, but once submitted eclaimsline was quick to review and approve. What a great card benefit!

I was impressed by the continued follow up with the hotel in question by the benefits team. The delay in the finalization of the case was perfectly understandable with the circumstances. The only frustrating thing was it seemed I need to update the same items multiple times to address some of the follow up questions, but it was just a matter of re-submitting the same documents a 2nd time.

Anytime one has to file an insurance claim these days, there is always some anxiety: How much effort will it be? Will the insurer try to dodge it, requiring a fight? In foreign cases like this, will there be language or currency issues? Particularly with credit card benefits, I always fear that they have changed (unannounced) since the last benefits description (which I experienced with other cards). I put off filing this claim two weeks after returning the rental because I was dreading it. That was unfounded: After speaking to an agent (slightly hard to understand, but very friendly) who confirmed my coverage, I proceeded to file online. It was easy, and I received an email confirming the claim and telling me what to expect. I later received an email requesting another final document from the rental company (obtaining which turned out to be the most difficult, which is the fault of Avis/Budget). I uploaded it to the claims site, and the claim was approved and deposited to my account a few days later. This couldn't have gone more smoothly, and I am very satisfied -- and relieved!

Great experience getting the trip cancellation claim approved. It took me some time to get all the documentation needed for the claim but once I did they stuck to their 5 business day review policy and answered accordingly. I suggest adding an email informing the customer that the claim has been approved.

So thankful to have had this coverage through my credit card. The process was simple, straight forward, and quick to file. The length of time to get my refund was about 2 weeks or less--so happy to have gotten my check in the mail!

Filing my claim was easy and efficient. I am older and not as familiar using or trusting technology, however I was fairly amazed even I could file a claim. Thank you Eclaimsline!
