Horrible scam, and shame on Chase for outsourcing to this Company
I can only agree with most everyone, Card Benefit Services is as close to a looping nightmare you can come. You submit a claim, it looks good, you receive a confirmation, but then nothing more happens. I submitted a clean and straightforward claim in January, and all in all it took me five months to finally get it resolved. Luckily I documented every call, or it would have confused me endlessly. Every customer representative told me a different story: “oh, I see here that this is missing”, and although you can prove that exact document is already submitted they tell you (like clock work, every time) “you will receive an email within two days”. Finally, 1-2 weeks later, you do receive an email, stating something else is missing. One time I was told my pictures were not eligible, but that they (what a coincidence!) just submitted a claim “to their admin department” to get the originals?? One representative then told me, after putting me on hold again, that the problem was that my picture were in black/white and not color... It is an endless loop of wait and see, to tire you out. I simply cannot understand how Chase, as an reputable bank, can associate themselves with something very close to scam. I finally submitted a written claim to Chase, wanting to cancel my card (and I was truly prepared to do so) and received all of a sudden a call back with the notification that my claim now was processed and ready to be paid out. An horrifying experience, very far away from proffesional Bank service!
