If I had known a travel claim would be this difficult, I would have purchased travel insurance from a reliable company. Three months into my claim, they are still asking for letters impossible to obtain from airlines. They also changed some details on my claim on their own without informing me. Unethical and unprofessional.. after waiting to speak to someone for 30 minutes, one of their agents hung up on me yesterday.

Rejected a claim and a subsequent appeal. Claim was due to a weather related delay on an international itinerary. I included all evidence, including a carrier statement. There is absolutely no recourse. Its disappointing Chase Sapphire Reserve card uses this and advertises it as a benefit. Please file a compliant with consumerfinance dot gov to ensure Chase gets what they deserve.

They make it impossible to submit a claim. The system is manageable, but then they just keep asking for docs upon docs upon docs. Every time I submit the docs they ask for, they ask for more, oftentimes of things I've already submitted. You can't call to get an evaluator on the phone, but you can request that one calls you back but you cannot specify a time or date. I've had two open claims about 3 months now. It's exhausting.

This is the worst form of American enterprise, one designed expressly to dupe the public, to deny reasonable claims, and to NOT pay legitimate insurance claims. I am on my fifth call with them as I type this, and have emailed at least half a dozen times. This operation is so slimy, that I have to believe that any positive reviews are just employed shills...

Horrible service. Even though the CSR I spoke with understood my situation, the "claims analysts" employed here are mindless robots that do not understand the nuances of the situation. Although some money was paid out to us, it was around $700 short of what we should have received based on the documentation we provided. Overall horrible service and not what I'd expect from a contractor associated with a high-end credit card company.

just awful. Like other reviewers, I've been waiting for 4 mo for a claim to be processed. I canceled a flight with American Airlines for medical reasons, was issued a credit, Chase said once the credit expired unused they'd look at the claim. That occurred in Jan 2023. However, despite having ALL of the documentation, they are waiting for an actual letter from AA saying that I do not have an active credit. AA will not issue that, saying that the terms of the credit stipulate it is only valid for 1 year, and that should be sufficient (but Eclaims will not accept that!). I've called and Emailed AA 4 times to get this letter and have had no luck. Eclaims says in that event they have to submit a request themselves 3 times, which'll take months, to bypass the need for the letter. If I could dump Chase because of this, I would.
