my son lost his watch 1 month after getting it and I used my chase card and supposedly have purchase protection. I month, 3 phone calls and about 6 responses to their questions without ever being able to understand the person calling and no resolution yet. This has literally been the worst experience with a claim. American Express claims are 500000 stars. Chase is 0 stars. I will never buy anything on my chase card again. American Express only for any purchases other than groceries.

If I could leave 0 Stars I would!!!
If I could leave 0 Stars I would. I have been trying to receive my Delayed Baggage Benefit from Chase Card Services Benefits department which is contracted through Eclaimsline.com and it is a total run-a-round.
It's a $100 delayed baggage claim for a couple of pair of shorts, t-shirts and clean underwear.
I can not get anywhere with these folks aft 4.5 months. They keep trying to get me to an claims reviewer and I have been on hold for 65 minutes, 33 minutes and no response from countless emails from the representative asking them to call me back.
I am waiting for one more attempt and then I will A. file a claim with the ConsumerFinance.gov department and this close to just cancelling my long time account with Chase.

Worst Customer Experience Of My Life
TL; DR: Exactly what everyone else said. Terrible, repeat docs sent, like they were looking for reasons to not approve me.
Dealing with this company has to be the single most frustrating customer experience I’ve ever had. My friend and I were on a flight that got so delayed, we missed our follow up flight AND two nights in a hotel that was already charged. My friend and I both submitted for our charges. He submitted five docs total, wrote maybe two sentences, and was approved in about a month.
Me? Ha ha ha, nope.
I went out of my way to send as many docs as I could. Like over the top amounts of documents. I got back two emails asking for more. Despite being on the same exact flight, I was denied because JetBlue said the flight wasn’t caused by weather. Fine, I understood there was a misunderstanding, so I emailed JetBlue and got the right confirmation that the delay was caused by weather.
Nope again. Suddenly, I was denied because less than 20% of my total trip was affected.
I call numerous times. The rep at Chase Benefits said there’s no way to contact EClaims besides email because too many people call to yell or complain. (Yeah, with this type of service, no s***)
I submit yet again, but this time, with my friend’s docs also attached, saying if he was approved and everything was literally exactly the same, why wasn’t I? I get denied again. Call Chase again, and they say they don’t even have those docs. I email the docs again daily. Finally, after a week, someone emails back confirming they got them, and a month later, I call Chase AGAIN only to find out I was denied two weeks earlier and never got an email.
The incident was May 1. It's now almost Sept 1
All I have to say is THANK F***ING GOD I had supplemental travel insurance. I emailed them all my docs, and in two weeks, I had an email saying my claim was processed and the check will be sent in a week. This company? It’s a friggen joke and needs to be thrown in the trash

If you have the chase sapphire reserve…
If you have the chase sapphire reserve you do not have ANY trip insurance. Don't believe anything their website says because this company deals with you and they do not respond or answer any email. You will be SCREWED. It has been 8 months since I submitted and I have received no resolution for very obvious trip issues.

Five months after two claims were…
Five months after two claims were filed, one was approved for only 60% of the legitimate amount. They say they have not received the paperwork for the second claim though they were sent at the identical time. Decided to cut my losses and accept the reduced payout, BUT the acceptance button that was supposed to be active for 48 hours was no longer active. Sleazy company, but what can you expect from Chase and Jamie Dimon?
Dump Chase and buy REAL travel insurance!

Same experience as many others..
Same experience as many others... repeated asking for same documents, other delay tactics, inability to get past (notably pleasant but ineffective) agents. Seems like this company is begging for a class action lawsuit and Chase is certainly taking a reputational hit by associating with them.

Allianz through Chase Sapphire terrible service!
I have Allianze through Chase Sapphire. I booked a cruise for Feb 2023 last April 2022. I paid my trip off in November 2022. My husband started having stomach issues in Oct 2022, goes to the doc and finds out in the middle of November that he has stage 4 cancer and less than 6 months to live. Of course his doc says no travel due to the treatment he needs to try to save his life. He died 4/5/23.. I have given them documentation on top of documentation to prove this wasn't pre existing. I can't get called back, I can't a get response that makes any sense except the examiner is working on it. No emails, nothing for months. Today I get it's going to be more delays because of Maui. This has been awful!
