I was surprised at how quickly I was able to add captions both in English and Spanish. It also does a lot more than just subtitles.

App works great for me making minute long shorts on leadership principles for business managers. It saves me a ridiculous amount of time in editing, captions, and b-roll. So helpful to have me produce high quality content at scale. frustration is 1) my desktop browser Captions will not sync with my mobile captions. So I cannot record the video on my phone and then tweak with small edits on my computer. It has to be all on my mobile or all on my computer. 2) I had the MAX account. Used to show, but then a month later, under my account settings it said I just had the free version, but the support said I had MAX on their system. That confusion is unsettling. All in all, good.

Overall, the product works really well way better than other alternatives in understanding voices quitting subtitles and translating in different languages. The assistance is really helpful. They often reply very quickly and they always try to find solutions.

I mainly use Captions to add Dutch subtitles to my reels, in my own language, and the results are almost always accurate. I only have to adjust a word here and there, but overall it saves me a lot of time. (app & desktop) I also find it very useful for turning podcasts I’ve been part of, or longer content I want to reuse for videos or reels, into shorter snippets with the AI Shorts feature. I don’t really use the other tools, so I can’t comment on those, but the features I mentioned above are ones I’m genuinely happy with. Whenever I contact support, I usually get help within a few minutes. So far, their support has always helped me successfully, which I really appreciate.
