Hidden fees, but a really good experience with the company overall. Received my refund and a confirmation email
I booked a $300 package deal with capital vacations salesman during a Rockies baseball game. They were selling packages and it seemed to good to be true. In a way it is overall still a very cheap vacation deal. $300 for a 4 night stay somewhere and then an additional 8 night stay somewhere tropical like Mexico for example. However… you do have to read the fine print or you will be charged extra fees. That’s not capital vacations fault, it’s up to the resorts BUT I asked the salesman 2ce if there were hidden fees and he lied and said no. The good news is, I was able to get a full Refund for the $300 once I called and talked to the main capital vacations line. Both people I spoke to were very kind and efficient. I got a confirmation email stating my refund and 48 hours later the refund is in my bank. I will say if you do want to do business with them , I would honestly recommend. It just wasn’t in the cards for me and I couldn’t meet the fine print criteria to make the trip happen. Plus I’m broke and cannot afford flights so it was bad timing for me. However I may look into booking w them in the future based on the ease of the experience I did have. We’ll see.
