Customer service and exchange reservation information is just bad. This timeshare group bought Trading Places and is offers horrible service and no nothing reps. Many of them work from home and have few resources, if they dont have the answer, your out of luck. Worse yet, many barely speak english and cant understand your question. If your looking at a timeshare, go Marriott only. The rest are a decaying 1990s bad choice.

Extremely Disappointed with Capital…
Extremely Disappointed with Capital Vacations – A Dream That Turned into a Nightmare
Where do I even begin? We signed up for Capital Vacations and became members excited about the promise of luxury travel, family vacations, and all the benefits they made membership sound like it offered. Unfortunately, there was a lot they failed to tell us.
Many of the properties we’ve encountered look and feel more like Motel 6 than the luxury accommodations we were led to expect. When trying to book nicer-looking properties, availability seems extremely limited, with dates beyond the next month often blocked out.
Here’s the biggest catch: after becoming members, we were offered a “dream vacation” for five days, including flights for two. What they failed to make clear upfront was that we had to pay 20% of our membership cost to claim it, meaning thousands of additional dollars.
We finally took our long-awaited dream vacation, with all the arrangements made through the company. Unfortunately, the excitement disappeared the moment we arrived. The room was disappointing, with outdated furniture, cobwebs on the headboard, and sheets that looked old and stained. I was so uncomfortable I had to purchase my own sheets just to feel comfortable sleeping in the bed.
On top of that, we were charged a resort fee for a property that hardly felt like a resort and offered no amenities to justify the charge. Our room was never serviced during our stay, and no one checked in to see whether we needed anything or how they could improve our experience.
Yet, despite this disappointing experience, we were still expected to attend another presentation so they could sell us even more.
When checkout approached, we realized our flight wasn’t until 10 p.m. We requested a late checkout, only to be told that it wasn’t possible unless we paid for an additional night. There was no consideration for the inconvenience or the fact that we were members who had already spent thousands of dollars.
This has been one of the worst membership experiences I have ever had. We did not feel like valued members. We felt like people who had simply walked in off the street and booked an ordinary hotel room.
My advice to anyone considering this membership is to think carefully before signing up. Instead of paying thousands of dollars for a membership based on promises of dream vacations and luxury travel, you may be better off saving your money and taking one quality vacation a year on your own terms.
Capital Vacations sold us a dream, but our experience has been far from it. The accommodations, limited booking options, unexpected costs, and lack of customer service have left us deeply disappointed.
Please do your research and understand exactly what you’re paying for before committing. The dream they sell during the presentation may not match the reality of the experience.

Gigantic Rip-Off
On September 2, 2026, my wife and I attended a timeshare presentation by Capital Vacations. They made a host of commitments, and promised us a platform and points we could use for future vacations.
The sales consultant even volunteered to be our personal point of contact (or as she put it “concierge”) for a full year. Obviously, she was trying to make the sale and we thought exaggerating, but we expected at the very least a return phone call or text message if we contacted her.
It has been a month, and after repeated calls, texts, and on-line requests, we’ve received no communication from her or the company. As bad as non-communication is, we still have not received the 300,000+ points we were promised despite our repeated requests.
All we received so far was a monthly bill for payment. Understand, they already have more than $6699.95 of our money, and now they want additional payment for absolutely nothing.
As far as we are concerned, they breached their contract, and now we want our money back!

⭐ 1-Star Review
⭐ 1-Star Review – Hollywood Beach Tower, Hollywood, Florida
Our recent stay at Hollywood Beach Tower was unfortunately a very disappointing experience.
The property is old and outdated, although I will give credit where it’s due—the facility was clean. Unfortunately, beyond cleanliness, there wasn’t much that made this feel like a true resort. There is no restaurant and very few, if any, resort amenities, which was disappointing for a vacation property.
The biggest issue, however, was the two-hour Capital Vacations timeshare presentation that we were required to attend.
What we experienced was an extremely high-pressure sales presentation that became uncomfortable and, ultimately, humiliating. Rather than feeling like valued guests, we felt like we were being pressured and disrespected because we did not make the purchase they wanted us to make.
One representative in particular was extremely rude. The interaction became so uncomfortable that, at the end, he told the staff, and I quote:
“Get them outta here.”
Hearing that after sitting through a lengthy, high-pressure presentation was incredibly disrespectful and completely unacceptable.
I understand that timeshare representatives are there to sell, but there is a line between making a sales presentation and making guests feel pressured, humiliated, and unwelcome.
Overall, the property needs significant updating, the amenities are very limited, and our experience with the timeshare presentation left a very bad impression.
The vacation itself should have been about relaxing and enjoying Hollywood Beach—not being subjected to a high-pressure sales experience and then being treated disrespectfully when we said no.
Based on our experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

🛑 WARNING TO BUYERS
🛑 WARNING TO BUYERS: Ask About the Missing St. Maarten Inventory Before You Sign!
I am an owner who executed a 125,000-point contract with Capital Vacations in Myrtle Beach, paying a $17,169 principal deposit. The primary driving factor that induced my family to buy into this network was the heavy marketing and explicit verbal representations regarding their Caribbean anchor property: the St. Maarten Sea Palace Resort.
Shortly after our rescission window closed, Capital Vacations completely removed the St. Maarten Sea Palace from their active network portfolio due to an internal corporate legal fallout with the property’s Homeowners Association over unpaid fees. When we attempted to dispute the contract based on this massive reduction in network value, Capital Vacations' "Owner Care" compliance team completely ghosted our phone calls and emails, sending over 10 consecutive inquiries straight to unreturned voicemails.
When escalated to state regulators, Capital simply hid behind fine-print boilerplate contract text stating that "program benefits are subject to change". They will happily sell you on a premium international destination in a high-pressure sales room, take your $17,000+, and then pull the asset out from under the network while legally forcing you to pay ongoing monthly maintenance fees.
Advice to anyone attending a presentation: Do not rely on a single verbal promise made by the sales team. Read the fine print carefully, and know that the core destinations they market to you today can disappear from the trust network tomorrow.

Timeshare fiasco
We have friends who were kind enough to let us use their timeshare at the Grand Crowne Resort in Branson Missouri. After checking in we were directed to the concierge to get our parking passes. The concierge than proceeded to try to get us to sign up to listen to a presentation the next day. Had to be scheduled at time of check in. After 9 hours traveling, my mind was not sharp and agreed to attend the presentation. We were also promised a $160.00 American Express card. What was supposed to be a 90 minute presentation turned into 3 and 1/2 hours including a tour to another resort. Without my knowing I ended up applying for their credit card which I did NOT want. Very sneaky tactics. Our salesman was new, after meeting with him, a "boss" tries to offer us a package. He was very arrogant and turned us off right away. While he was getting a package together, we told our salesman to go tell him we were not going to purchase anything not to waste his time. The "boss" came back and rudely said,"I don't ever want to hear that someone doesn't want to talk to me" Prior to that he degraded the salesman in front of us for what he thought was not giving us clear enough information about the company. We felt so sorry for the salesman. How embarrassing! These people are pushy, not trustworthy and rude, making it sound like Capital Vacations was a good deal. When we were finished with the "boss'" we had to speak with another person for an evaluation and she tried to sell to us again. We finally were able to get our free gift and we left. Most theatres in Branson will not accept American Express due to their high fees, so basically, they used a card that could not be used everywhere. We had no intention of purchasing a package, for sure not after the "boss" was so rude. It's a scam for them to make money off you. Don't trust them and don't buy!!

Very misleading presentation
Very misleading presentation. Was told I would get a $100 gift card and a free 7 night trip if i attended a 90-120 minute presentation. (Not 1 1/2 to 2 hour presentation). The presentation was 3 hours with ever increasing pressure to buy. I was offered a huge "discount" if I bought immediately but i would pay more than twice if I waited until the next day. Huge red flag. I declined and got my gift card and vacation info. Have not figured out how to use the gift card and the free vacation had a reservation and resort fee of about $400. I'm thinking about suing them for fraud.
