Capital One agent was not able to help me make my reservation. The Hotel's website included breakfast in it's price. The Capital One Travel website did not include breakfast and the price was exactly the same. I called Cap One to see if they could price match the hotels website with an included breakfast and they could not. I thought price matching was a feature of Cap One. Apparently NOT!! I think that this is one of the ways the avoid giving out the 5X points!!! Terrible!

They have a travel price drop protection. But it only last 10 days , and I found that out only after the fact. The price dropped and they would not care. Even after speaking to a supervisor called Alex , he simply would not do anything about it. Keep that in consideration people

Looks like I am late to the party w my One Star review. Customer service has nice enough people but there is a language barrier in many instances. That’s on Cap One and not on someone who is working to better themselves and their family. Train them They if a problem happens they are not empowered to fix the problem. That’s also on Cap One. We bought cancellation insurance for our trip. 3 rooms in Honolulu. A work issue came up and my son in NYC had to postpone his arrival. Our option is to cancel the whole reservation or eat a room and this happened the night before we left and one reason we bought insurance. “You signed an agreement w these terms somewhere in a 10-20 page document. They do not have your back. Beware!

Capital One customer service is horrible. We rented a car on the website and the price was not honored in Spain. We had to rent the car there and paid three times more. Then they would not cancel the previous payment of the first rental when we protested. We were told to eat the refund. BEWARE! BEWARE! DO NOT USE THEM

Capital One Travel insurance is useless if you do not get seen by a physician! My children had diarrhea and vomiting the morning of our flight, which made us miss our flight and had to rebook with a different airline I submitted my claim and they denied it because they were not seen by a physician,their symptoms stopped the next day. It was a 24 hour virus so why would I spend more money going to the doctor if their symptoms has stopped?! Even if I did, there would’ve still been a chance, my claim would’ve still been denied so I would’ve been out even more money. For them, the name of the game is to not pay out, which is BS!

I booked a flight with Emirates through capitalonetravel two months back. I booked much earlier to well plan my trip and have peace of mind. The layover was just a 4:30 hr in Dubai when I booked the ticket. The capitalonetravel changed it to a ridiculous 31 hour layover without my consent. When I asked for a refund or changed flight, they refused and had the nerve to ask me for more money to fix their mistake. This is a complete scam. Zero accountability, terrible (cheater) customer service, and no respect for travelers' time or money. I expected way better from a company tied to Capital One. Never booking with them again--and please please you shouldn't either.

Capital One Travel customer service agents are simply incompetent. They don’t know how to solve simple problems. I just wanted to change travel dates but they gave me wrong info, wrong price and difficult understanding. Everything is bad every time I called them. Terrible!!! I gave up. I will soon cancel my Capital One card.

Stay away from Capital One Travel! Booked a flight and wanted to rebook the second leg of it (it said online I could). After four weeks of back and forth and multiple hours on the phone with different customer agents they said I would get a refund of 35$ for a flight that cost me total 1400$. Never again am I using this platform.
