Canto is a great application! The out of the box features are a great tool to add to our belt, we went from a traditional windows file storage structure for all of our assets, which made tracking down old assets a challenge. Canto offers not only tagging, but also an AI driven facial recognition, that is pretty amazing, and really assists with finding particular assets later down the road.

Canto is a robust, powerful and well thought through product. I have been using now for just over a year and it has been a fantastic tool in our workflow. Support is responsive and helpful. The Canto team even introduced one of my suggestions for adding extra functionality. Thousands of our images and documents are now easy to find download and share. We have also been impressed with the integration into InDesign. I can't recommend highly enough!

Generally, I am very happy with the way Canto works and how we have been able to organize our photos, videos and other documents on the platform. It's very easy to navigate and make content available to others. Additionally, the help service is outstanding and I get a helpful and polite response usually within 20 minutes of making a request. The one feature I'm missing is being able to add assets to a collection that I've already shared a link of.

User friendly platform. Although I sometimes struggle locating some features, I like that they are trying to remedy this issue by constantly updating their product. Their support team is very responsive.

Canto is a powerful, robust digital asset management tool that allows our company of 1000+ individuals to seamlessly work together to share, create and organize brand content. Without this tool, we would never be as organized and efficient as we are. I have used this tool personally for almost two years now and I would highly suggest this product if you're in search of a DAM.

we´ve been using for a few years now and it has been really worth it, since we can have all the info from the team in one space that can be easily used anywhere, its super friendly to use and search and the files can be managed as you want, if you need need it private or shared for the team mates. Also, you can blind the documents if you have to share it for privacy. It has been a real game changer!

User friendly and easy to navigate even without guidelines.

Canto has a ton of customizations but is limited in its performance and reliability. You can configure the system anyway you like. So you can organize your assets that fits your organization the best. It is so easy to select one or more, generate a link and send it to a nonuser which is huge! The guest upload feature for letting people outside of your user group to send you files and upload them in full resolution. Having the ability to have a temporary selection board to pull assets together for temporary use is awesome. You can create external portals for grouping assets for external presentation to others. The performance is not as good as it should be. When you create a portal the changes take a long time to load. The UI is not modern. The interface feels a lot like a file browser, which is familiar but dated for browsing through hundreds or thousands of assets. Web upload via Safari is not reliable but at least there is a OS X app to upload through which works well. I came into a new organization that had been using Canto for a year and it was fairly easy for me to learn and become the administrator. I have not been impressed in the UI and performance of the system. The ease of use for admin, users, and non users is good. We have about 2000 assets in our system. We have a mix of Video, Photos, PDFs, and Word Docs.
