I am really excited that my company decided to implement Canto as part of our file management process. We have files that people all over the world need to be able to download and different places people go to look. Using Canto I am able to link assets in different areas, but only update and manage within Canto. It has made it really easy to keep up-to-date collateral in all the places.

Canto is a very impressive tool. It's versatility and easy of use has been very useful for our team. Furthermore there are so many customization features that are super helpful in making the platform your own.

Canto's file structure, sharing, and search capabilities are very good. Through the use of portals and branding tools, we have been able to improve our sharing capabilities internally and externally.

Everyone on my team and within my department are very happy with the solution and they all claim that Canto has made their lives easier and jobs more efficient. The benefits include saving time and making it easier to work together and share photography within our department and with external partners. It has solved the problem of campus-wide digital asset needs. I am able to create a smaller portal where other members of the community can login and choose photos from a selection of my choosing. My department has access to all images, but for the larger community, I'm able to decide what they can utilize. We decided to use Canto because of many features including the design, customizability, customer service, large thumbnails, organizational structure, tagging feature, and portal for outside consumers. The previous product that we were using was outdated and thumbnails were very small - searching for items was painful! Canto is beautiful and a pleasure to use when it's setup correctly and well thought out. Canto is very helpful, and they respond to issues in a timely manner (within a day or less). They have lots of tutorial videos that you can watch and provide to new users.

Having organized digital assets is a game changer. Gone are the days of hunting down the one person that has enough background knowledge about the specific image needed.

We use Canto to keep track of all of our projects across departments and topics. It is mostly used within the Marketing departments, and it helps us keep organized, especially if edits are made! It's great that we can update the files within a folder and the link will remain the same for those who have it.

Pros: Simple to use and works in both a browser and a desktop app. It has previews for Adobe native files which helps a lot when looking for specific assets. Cons: The UI isn't great — it's not easy to view + pull down assets quickly without "going into" them. The UX could definitely benefit from some tweaking, but no major issues blocking functionality. Overall: Simple tool to solve DAM needs!

The searchability is by far the best feature that we have used with Canto. While the other features are also powerful and helpful, the ability to type in pretty much any term and curate a list of assets immediately that I can download in my desired format has saved us hours of searching.
