I bought suspender boots for my dog through their Canada Pooch direct website. Bad idea. The company has been very difficult to communicate with. The print out sizing chart was not helpful. Trying to get in touch with customer service via phone or/and email - difficult/long wait times. Features on the web site did not work - chat and returns. Return process - cumbersome, unrealistic. I now have to donate 2 pairs of suspender boots (over $150 worth) to the Humane Society… which I am please to do, as MY dog can’t wear them. The product may be fine, but dealing with the company website/customer service was painful and lead to poor outcomes. I recommend buying these from a brick and mortar store or from Chewy! Their sales process, customer service and/or returns dept. are MUCH better

Je l'ai reçu rapidement la première fois mais j'ai dû procéder à un échange à cause de la taille, le guide n'étant pas bon. Mes courriels restent sans réponse et le peu de fois où j'en ai, ils me laissent ensuite sans suivi. Le traitement de ma commande est extrêmement long, ils sont inefficaces.

It keeps coming off! I wasn’t able to fully try of the size fits until we took an actual walk outside. Wearing it inside it seemed fine but once my dog walked out the shoes keep falling off one after another. I can’t exchange or return since he wore it already. It’s a terrible system. Won’t order again

Because of our mild winters I used my soft shield boots (size 1) less than 20 times. The velcro straps not only separated, but also became so fuzzy they do not hold anymore. The rest of the boots are in new condition, as confirmed by photos sent to Canada Pooch. Canada Pooch's return procedure is a 2-step process, sending pictures, etc. I asked if they would consider repairing or replacing the boots. Rather than stand behind their product, they offered me a 20% off coupon to buy another pair. I suggested to the customer service rep. that if I thought their boots would be intact after less than 20 uses, I would take them up on their offer. I will be shopping for another brand of boots.

Honestly I wish I'd looked at Trust Pilot first. They mean it when they say new with tags on and there is NO accommodation for customers at all. I followed their sizing and the one we got hits my pooch with tracheal issues right where it makes her cough. They offered me 15% off to buy another size and that's not even enough for taxes and shipping. These coats are great quality and very expensive but you better not have any issues bc they will not make allowances for any reason once you take the tags off.

The good news is they stay on. The bad news is they fall apart. I bought these when we moved to the mountains. We only used them a few times last winter when it was super cold and icy. After two uses this winter, two of them fell apart to the point where they are no longer usable. On one, the drawstring broke. On the other, the material over the paw ripped. I contaced Canada Pooch hoping they'd repair or replace them, but they only offered a small percentage off a new pair. Why would I buy more when they are costly and don't last?

I ordered sock boots for my lab in size xl after measuring her paws. The socks that arrived said XL but were TINY. Velcro strap didn’t even go halfway around my dog’s leg. Reached out to customer service to see if the package was mis-labeled. They replied with a bunch of pointless questions: had i washed the? Was there a problem with the colour? They did not address the issue at all. I can’t find return info as their site has been down for 2 days. Waste of $30. A company that sells only dog gear should know how to size things for dogs. Very odd. Wont order from them again.

Wanted to love Canada Pooch but my overall experience has been very poor. Impossible to get a call back, email response is incredibly slow, and returning the item cost me $12.50 because the item didn't fit my dog. All in all a negative customer experience.
