Not buying I.
I took the quiz
I took the quiz, and think the idea is interesting, but then I got a very off putting email that my quiz results would be "personally reviewed" by Dr. Alex Morgan, Head of Psychology at Calmio. Then they had what looked like a computer-generated AI image of a vanilla doctor. I googled his name and no results that looked right or looked like the AI thing. I am just writing this because I think if companies want to a) use AI and b) make people confident in their product, they should not lie to them, just as a basic ground-level rule for doing business. I'm going to pass on what you are selling when you are trying to pass off fake for real.
Response from CalmioSep 22, 2026
Thank you for taking the quiz, and for writing this out rather than just clicking away. The scepticism behind it is healthy and I'd rather hear it than not. On the substance: Calmio's programs are built with a team of psychologists and behavioural health specialists. They shape the course structure, the CBT material the lessons are based on, and how the program adapts to what people tell us about their situation. That work is what the product actually stands on. If you'd like to know more about how the programs are put together, or want to put a question to me directly, I'm at [email protected] — I'm happy to answer it properly.
