If the purchase was made on our website rather than through Google Play, it won't appear in your Play subscriptions, which would explain why you found nothing to cancel there. Paying a second time is never the fix for a login that won't recognise you. That's something we resolve from our end, and it's usually quick: in almost every case the account is registered under a different email address than the one being entered — Apple Pay, PayPal and social sign-ins often supply one of their own without the customer ever seeing it. Please email [email protected] and mark it for my attention, with the email address the payment came from. I'll find the account, get you logged into it, and go through the charges with you. I'd rather you ended up with the thing you paid for than with a refund and a bad memory of us.
