I used CallOnDoc for help with treating a sinus infection. I commute 90 minutes to and from work, so getting to my doctor during their office hours is impossible, unless I want to miss work. I answered questions about medical history and current medications, then about the symptoms I was having and how I was treating them. The assessment was very thorough, and there were sections in which I could elaborate on more, if necessary. Once the assessment was complete, I was notified that my information was sent to a medical team for review, and if medically necessary, they would send a prescription to my pharmacy. One hour later, I received an email with a treatment plan, and the prescribed medications that were sent to the pharmacy. I’ve used this service several times when I have been unable to get to my own doctor, and am grateful for the convenience it offers. It is great for acute issues, and they are thorough enough with their questions to determine a diagnosis, and a treatment. And they are very efficient. I have had treatment plans sent within 15 minutes to 1 hour and have been able to get prescriptions that evening, or early next morning if the pharmacy has already closed. I’m so glad to have found this service, and highly recommended others give it a try!
