I have to wait almost 7 seconds after picking up the receiver before I get a dial tone so I can make a call. Doesn’t seem to block any more efficiently than the old one and I didn’t have to wait for a dial tone it was immediate. After receiving an email from customer support and following their instructions, the dial tone lag is gone. Feel much better about my purchase.

Hi Steve, In order to fix the problem with the delay before the dial tone, you can follow these steps : 1. Pick up the phone and wait for a dial tone. 2. Press and hold the Call List button on the call blocker until you see the number 100 appear on the screen of the call blocker. I’m not very happy or impressed with this new upgraded CPR Call Blocker! I have been using it for over a week now. So far the only calls that have been blocked are the ones that I have manually blocked. It has allowed every single call to come through instead of blocking them all. If I am going to have to continue to manually block numbers/calls then this call blocker is worthless!

Hi Amy, You can set the V10,000 to block all calls apart from calls from numbers that you program into the unit. To do this : 1. Press and hold the "Allow List" button until you see the word "Successful" appears on the screen of the call blocker. 2. The top of the display should now read "Allow Mode". Once you have done that, you will need to program in the numbers that you want to be able to contact you. To do that, simply dial them into your phone and press the "Allow List" button again. Great job holding back calls which need to be blocked. However, it seems that each day the app won't open so I have to delete it and re-add each day.
