Love the protein powder but the customer service is non existent. They don't answer emails or Facebook/ Instagram messages. A company that doesn't get back to customers is one I no longer trust. Especially when it comes to a product that I'm putting in my body. I refuse to purchase anything else from this company.

I like the flavor and the price. Only thing that I dislike is about milk protein because I’m intolerant :(

First off, let me say I actually love this product. I think it tastes great and it's the only vegan protein powder that my body really hasn't had any adverse effects from. Ideally, I could get this product on a reliable basis for my workout schedule. But the reason I'm leaving a 3-star review is that their shipping process is an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Their standard shipping window says 3 to 7 days, but I have never once received a shipment from them in under 15 days. On top of that, for the Chicago area at least, they use UPS Mail Innovations for delivery; meaning UPS delivers the package to a USPS regional facility that then proceeds to either: A.) Have the package sit at their facility for ~5 days minimum or B.) Lose the package entirely to the point where neither UPS nor USPS can locate the package and both refuse to help. The latter has happened to me with 2 different orders now. The insult to injury here is California Performance charges $5 for this. Their support is also only reachable via email. All in all, amazing product; but good luck getting it with any regular schedule or consistency, even on a subscription.

I recently bought two shakers and the toxic lining that was added to coat the inside of the shaker is getting scratched off by the metal whisk ball inside.

I have tried all three flavours and I think berry and chocolate are the best. I really like the chocolate, but for reasons I can’t figure out, it gives me a terrible stomach ache every time. When I make the same exact protein shake and sub in a different protein powder, I feel fine. I never had problems with dairy prior to going vegan so I’m not sure what the problem is. It’s a bummer because otherwise I really like this.

Edit: They did eventually reach out to me multiple weeks later and are sending the product to my correct address. I've increased the rating from 1 to 3 stars. My phone auto-entered the address when I selected a payment type and it was my old address in another state. I contacted the company immediately and a total of 4 times over the next week and never even got a reply. I hope someone in North Carolina is enjoying their product.

Unfortunately, I felt pretty disappointed. I'm allergic to pea protein powders, so I tried both the vanilla sundae and chocolate flavors. They both tasted overwhelmingly artificial. I would rather they just use regular sugar if they want to sweeten the product this much. It's like a diet soda version of a protein shake. Otherwise, the vanilla is good and it dissolves better than any other protein powder I've had. I would absolutely buy more if it tasted better, but considering the price, it's not worth it in my opinion.

Vegan protein powders always give me a major stomach ache and make me feel extremely nauseated. Having eaten two servings per day for three weeks, I can safely say California Performance protein does not cause digestive problems at all. That's the positive. The negative is that the flavors added to the protein are too sugary and too salty. Chocolate is bland and sugary. Vanilla is too sugary, even cloying. Berry has no sugar, but is very acidic. I wish the company would sell a plain powder with no flavor added. I am perfectly capable of adding the flavors I like. The other negative, is the cost. At about 8 cents per gram of protein, it is 4 times the cost of pea protein powder. I'd be willing to pay the additional cost if they offered one without a flavor.
