They didn’t stick!
I have tried to post my review to Cakes' website directly on 3 separate occasions in the months since I ordered, but it won't let me post it, so here we are. I tested these out for a simple drinks and unfortunately they started peeling off within 30 minutes. I wasn’t even dancing or sweating so I’m pretty disappointed given the price. I really wanted to love these but they didn’t work for me.
Response from CAKES bodyMar 31, 2026
Hi! We're sorry to hear the adhesive didn't hold up the way it should — peeling within 30 minutes under normal conditions is genuinely not the experience we want for anyone, and we appreciate you sharing that honestly. We'd also like to address your note about leaving a review on our site — our review platform is open to all verified purchasers, so if you ran into a technical issue we'd want to know about that too. Please reach out to us at [email protected] and we'd be happy to look into both concerns and make sure you're taken care of.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I ordered 3 pairs of Cakes, they sent me the wrong sizes and refused to send me refund or exchange the product. Never will buy from them again.
Response from CAKES bodyMar 31, 2026
Hi Iuliia, we're sorry to hear the sizing didn't work out for you — we understand how disappointing that can be. We do want to note that your order contained the Sticky Starter Pack, which is a Final Sale bundle and is ineligible for returns or exchanges, as noted on the product page at the time of purchase. We always recommend checking our size guide before ordering to help find the best fit.

If you are a breastfeeding mom don't…
If you are a breastfeeding mom don't even try. I ordered some thinking my boobs would go back to normal size by the time I had a wedding after weaning and they did not. They did with my first but not my second. And they are not willing to assist with a size exchange since it is outside the 30 days but not worn. The push up style also does not work for the sagging breastfeeding boobs either. They don't stick well at all especially if the size is not perfect. Again don't be fooled. You need something that sticks and a company that will work with you. Don't waste your money.
Response from CAKES bodyMar 31, 2026
Hi Kara, thank you for sharing this — we're sorry our products and policies added stress to what should have been an exciting occasion. We completely understand how frustrating it is when sizing doesn't work out the way you'd hoped, especially when you'd planned ahead. We've looked into your order and a member of our team will be reaching out to you directly via email very soon, as we'd love the opportunity to make this right for you. Please keep an eye on your inbox!

First time purchase and they claim I…
First time purchase and they claim I cannot return ANYTHING. This brand is such a scam, they pretend to have good products but the other brands I’ve used are better. Their customer service is not helpful at all.
Response from CAKES bodyMar 31, 2026
Hi Grace, we're sorry to hear you felt that way about your experience. We do want to clarify that we accept returns on all eligible items — some bundles and promotional items are marked as Final Sale at the time of purchase and are not eligible for returns or exchanges, which may be what you encountered. We hope this helps provide some clarity, and we wish you all the best.

I placed an order on 11/29/25 and today…
I placed an order on 11/29/25 and today is 12/29/25 and I still have not received a shipping confirmation. I contacted the company multiple times and I simply got the same basic email, we apologize but due to a surge in sales we gave a delay in orders but not once did they reach out to me to let me know. Today I finally reached out again and asked for a full refund because their lack of communication is horrible.
Response from CAKES bodyMar 31, 2026
Hi Liliana, you're absolutely right, and we sincerely apologize. The high volume of orders following our Black Friday sale led to inventory delays that we didn't communicate proactively, and that's on us. You shouldn't have had to follow up multiple times to get answers — we understand why that experience was frustrating and we take that feedback seriously. We're glad we were able to process your refund and we hope you'll give us another chance in the future.

Zero stars preferred
Zero stars preferred. I placed an order 30 days ago and have received no product yet have been charged $125 for my unfulfilled order. I've reached out multiple times to find why my order is unprocessed in which I have gotten plenty of AI responses and promotional materials. I might have reached one human "Novie" (via email and website chat) who keeps telling me she understands my frustration and my order should ship next week. Sounds like repetitive automated responses and will not comply with my request to elevate my complaint. Also not willing to compensate for this extremely delayed and messed up experience. 100% Unacceptable. 1/12/26 UPDATE: Well after 30 days of placing the black friday order and my continued pressure to rectify the situation. I was told I can cancel my order and resubmit it. When I asked why they couldn't resubmit the order I was told again, I would need to cancel and resubmit. I never was able to reach management I definitely canceled and will NOT order from CAKES Body again. BUYER BEWARE!!
Response from CAKES bodyMar 31, 2026
Hi Amie, we're truly sorry for the experience you've described — waiting 30 days for an order without clear answers or meaningful resolution is completely unacceptable, and we understand why you're frustrated. Like several customers during that period, your order was impacted by inventory delays following our Black Friday sale, and we recognize that our communication throughout fell short of what you deserved. We hope this provides some context, and we sincerely apologize that we weren't able to turn this experience around for you.

Did Not Perform as Expected
I purchased two Cakes Body covers (one round and one triangle) a few months ago after reading the strong reviews on the website and was willing to pay more based on that reputation. I recently tried them for the first time. Unfortunately, the adhesive performance did not meet expectations. The covers only stayed in place when wearing very tight clothing. With looser clothing, they did not grip well and would fall off, making them impractical for everyday wear. Given the price point and the reviews that influenced my purchase, this was disappointing. I was hoping for more reliable adhesion and versatility across different types of clothing.
Response from CAKES bodyMar 31, 2026
Hi! Thank you for this thoughtful feedback — we're sorry the covers didn't perform the way you hoped, especially given the investment. Based on your description, it sounds like you may have purchased our Grippy CAKES, which are designed to stay in place through friction and compression rather than a traditional adhesive backing. They do perform best under more fitted styles, which may explain the difference you noticed with looser clothing. For a stronger hold across a wider range of outfits, our Sticky CAKES line uses a skin-safe adhesive and may be a better fit for what you were looking for. We appreciate you sharing your experience as it helps us improve how we communicate the differences between our products.

I wish I would’ve come here before…
I wish I would’ve come here before ordering, but my niece really wanted to try these out so I ordered from them and it’s been 12 days since I ordered they said they usually ship out the next business day and they aren’t sure why it hasn’t shipped out but that it should be shipping soon and once it does ship it will take 5 to 7 business days for it to arrive. They gave me the impression they really don’t care about customer service. You’re basically on their timeline and you get it when you get it if you get it at all, I’m about to try and cancel my order.
Response from CAKES bodyMar 31, 2026
Hi Monica, we're sorry for the frustration this caused — both for you and your niece. The delay you experienced was part of a wider fulfillment backlog following an exceptionally high volume of orders, and we completely understand why the lack of proactive communication made it feel like we didn't care. That's not the experience we want for anyone and we take that feedback to heart. We hope the order ultimately reached you and that your niece enjoys the products.
