Just wanted to share my experience with Cabinets to Go. I wish I had gone through Google reviews before contracting with them. While I didn’t have any of the quality or damage issues that people report, I will say this - they do not take responsibility for the fact that they use layers of 3rd parties to get the work done. They do not own that they should proactively communicate status to their customers when there are issues with THEIR 3rd parties. This comes from their management because commitments to return calls are not honored until I say I will review my experience publicly and then he was belligerent and defensive the entire time (he would claim and did that I was belligerent when I was asking them to own the fact that I was their customer and they own my experience). Go in eyes wide open and prepare to manage them and the 3rd parties. Glad I am done with them.

Subject Complaint Regarding Quality Issues with Kitchen Cabinet Interface Chipping and 'LIFETIME' Warranty discrepancy.
I purchased kitchen cabinets from Cabinets To Go. Shortly after installation in 2020, I began to notice significant chipping on the interfaces of the cabinet doors and drawers. This chipping has continued to worsen over time, despite the cabinets being used under normal residential conditions and maintained according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Attempts to Resolve: I have contacted Cabinets To Go Customer Care to address this issue and obtain replacement panels for 2 of the cabinets. Despite providing detailed descriptions, photographs of the damage, and proof of purchase, the responses have been unsatisfactory. The supervisor at the company claimed that wear and tear and chipping of paint is not covered under the Lifetime Warranty. This limitation, however, is not included in the Sales Order paperwork that we originally signed. Regardless of this discrepancy, Cabinets To Go has offered inadequate solution and said that we would need to pay to replace the panels.
The chipping not only detracts from the aesthetic appeal of my kitchen but also raises concerns about the long-term durability and quality of the cabinets. Given the significant investment I made in these cabinets, I am extremely disappointed with the product's performance and the company's response to my concerns.

Refused to honor warranty claiming the damage to my cabinet door is water damage. You would have to soak it for a long time to have this kind of problem, which I have not done. They also chip very easily. Do not expect coverage if you have a damaged cabinet.

Cabinets-to-Go
Cabinets-to-Go: Friendly sales person, and cabinets at reasonable prices, but that’s where the good part ends. Installer nightmare! When they came out and did measurements, they measured too long, didn’t use my measurements and ended up installing the cabinets over a light switch. The installers response was we do that all the time you just need to fix it. The sales manager said the installer should have stopped, called with new measurements, and waited for the right cabinets. When I contacted cabinets to go about this issue, they refused to do anything said they would send out an installer, but that was almost a month ago, and after six messages still nothing. One of the cabinets that they installed is a corner cabinet that has an interior section where items will fall through the cabinets and be lost forever . I’m not sure why they didn’t have a closed panel cabinet versus a door panel without a door. And finally, the installer cut off the waterline so short to my vanity and kitchen sink that my plumber had to go under the house and re-run the lines. And once again, no response from cabinets to go on any type of resolution to make it right. Good luck!

The communication issues frim the start to end. The only concern they had is for us ti sign the contract so we could get the discount of %40 which very appealing, but to caused alot of time constraints on the planning and the design especially that we were out of the country for a family event. The cabinets we wanted and designed was not what we got and again communication fron the installation team to the counter did not happen until we realized they did not the counter team know that the kitchen is ready for the counter. The team left all the cardboard and mess from insulation in the meddle of the kitchen. We never got the %40 discount. We are not happy with kitchen at all. Too many issues.

Finish not durable
Overall the project went well. But finish quality is terrible, any minor contact removes top finish and shows white base coat. I've never experienced a worse paint finish on anything. We fortunately bought a color pen, putty and spray paint from Cabinets to go and after only 2 months since installation have used several times. I plan to spray a shellac over all surfaces in hopes of preventing future issues. if this doesn't work, we'll probably repaint the cabinets in a year or so.

Customer Service Management team needs to be fired
I've used Cabinets to Go a couple of times. The first time was wonderful. We got the cabinets, assembled them and installed them. It went pretty smoothly. I recently ordered cabinets for my daughter's home in a different city.
A woman in the Columbus, OH store was wonderful. She laid out the design, made sure all of the details were thought out, ... 5 stars for her service.
When I got to my daughter's place, the delivery guys who brought the cabinets were terrific too. They had to bring the boxes up a flight of stairs and carefully deposited them where I asked them to leave it. 5 stars to the delivery team in Albuquerque, NM.
Unfortunately when we opened up 2 of the 12 cabinets, a couple of the plastic pieces were broken (the cam lock pieces). So I called the local Albuquerque store to see if they had replacement pieces. They did not and told me to call customer service. 3 stars to the local store. It is a common piece across all of their cabinets. why don't they inventory those cheap parts that stop the cabinet assembly?
I called the customer service line and spoke to a customer service woman. This is where it went downhill quickly. She was polite, but not useful at all. I explained that I needed these $2 parts to complete the job and because I was in a different city, I was going to renovate her kitchen in a week so I needed these parts ASAP. Her response was that they could get us parts in 7-10 days. I asked if they could make an exception and I'd be willing to pay for FedEx shipping. her answer was "no". They apparently have no system for replacing their broken parts. I asked if I could speak to her manager. Her response was He's not here. I asked, could you call him? Her response "I don't know who my manager is." ARE YOU KIDDING? This conversation went on for some time. Needless to say, I was frustrated and pissed off that they couldn't get me $2 plastic part before I had to leave! I'd give their Customer "Service" a negative 5 stars. He was probably following the rules she had been given, but the managers of Customer Service should be fired for not providing policies/guidance for emergencies and exceptions and for not even letting their service teams know who their boss is! If I were Cabinets to Go's senior management, I'd clean house on the Customer Service team's management and start over with competent people. If my call was recorded, they should listen to the call and they will see problems that they clearly haven't ever thought about, if they think at all.
In the meantime, I will call Cabinets to Go to see about getting part of my money back. Unbelievable!
