Great cabinets, but... After installing them i needed a few additional trim pieces. They are expensive at $117.00 for one 8' piece of crown molding, and another $140.00 for three pieces of 8'X1/4" toe kick, and three 8' quarter round moldings. But then the shipping! They quoted me $285.00 for shipping, making my total well over $500.00! After telling them to cancel the order, they dropped the shipping charge to $151.00. Still ridiculous! So... although I'm very happy with the beautiful cabinets, their quality, and the original purchase, which totaled $6500.00, I think they could have accommodated me better by giving me their lowest shipping price FIRST!

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. 96" long items are subject to extra shipping costs due to the excessive sizes, as you were advised in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot negotiate the shipping costs with the shipping carriers/product suppliers. The website calculates all the fees automatically based on the product dimensions. You contacted us after you placed the order with a $285 (automatically generated) shipping fee, and the vital thing to note - we tried to help you get the needed items at the lowest possible price after that. We did not push you to accept it, and you were always able to proceed with cancellation. In addition to that, the $151 shipping cost you mentioned was not the final cost. The actual shipping charge was higher, and we covered the difference. Nonetheless, feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

I recently ordered 3 Ready To Assemble wall cabinets in the Winchester Copper color. They arrived in a reasonable amount of time and in good shape. They are a pretty color. But quality assurance did not do its job. See section below on shelves. When I went to assemble these, I had expected to find useful and informative assembly instructions in each box, or at least a URL where the written instructions existed. That was not the case. There is however a video on their website showing how to assemble them. The video should take a minute to tell people that the sides need to be placed in a certain way in order to leave a slot in the rear for the back panel attachment. I am hopeful that the instructions are accurate as I would have expected to use wood glue to hold the plywood backing to the sides and top and bottom in addition to stapling the back to its adjacent sides. The cabinets were easy to put together and are quite stable. The next step was to install the cabinets. While I was able to find multiple sites that provided guidance on doing this, I would have appreciated if CabinetsBay had provided instructions on its website. The cabinets are up. However, every single shelf is an 1/8” too long to fit in the cabinets on top of the shelf holder brackets. I had to trim an 1/8 inch off each shelf - and as these are plywood with maple veneer, the cut end now shows the exposed plywood. If I didn’t have a table saw, I would be in deep trouble. The company and product could have easily earned a 5 star rating from me if they had checked the length of the shelves to ensure they would fit! And if they would have provided a little bit more helpful documentation.

Damaged in shipment and I got wrong color on cabinets. Company can not give me the color code at sherwin Williams so I can paint other stuff to match and touchup

It has been delivered to you within an advertised period of time. Besides, we sent you an e-mail on 7/28 that Sherwin Williams may have a stock issue with the stain you are trying to obtain from them. Therefore, the cabinet manufacturer would recommend going to a Sherwin Williams' Performance Coating Group (PCG) facility that is better equipped for stain matching. Do not forget to bring the actual stained cabinet part and piece of wood you are planning to stain with you. We did not receive any updates from you since the latest e-mail. As for the damages or incorrect color - we also did not get any complaints from you. However, we are ready to help you. We sent you an e-mail request with the information we need to obtain in order to process the claim. Let us know if you have any questions.
