Update 2/20/24: I wanted to update this because I did have some success once I posted this review, but it shouldn’t take a bad review to get support. Right after my post, I received direct outreach from a great rep who let me know that I wasn’t hearing back from my doctor because they had apparently quit and the notification hadn’t gone out to folks who needed to know. I was immediately reassigned a new doctor, who promptly reached out. I was also finally able to get to speak with a pharmacist, which was helpful but still didn’t entirely answer my question about equivalencies between the cream and patch but at least I’m getting somewhere. Deciding to give ByWinona a chance and see if this can help me. Original post: Like myself, many women will already be taking HRT and may be switching to the cream product to address possible absorption issues (e.g., poor absorption of the estradiol patch). However, it is necessary to understand the equivalent dosages between the different types of HRT (tablets, cream, gel, spray or patch). Despite multiple messages in to By Winona to find out from a doctor how the 2.5 mg cream compares in strength to my .1 estradiol patch, I heard back once, early on, and it did not answer my question. I was assured by customer service agents that I would get an answer and it has been weeks with no answer. The concern that brought me to Winona is either that I’m not absorbing well with the .1 patch or the dosage is too low since I’ve been on this strength for some time. So, if the 2.5 mg cream is actually equivalent to a .1 patch or less than a .1 patch, the cream will likely do me no good. I like the convenience of being able to quickly access HRT online but do not like not having access to medical professionals for easy questions.

Winona has been very easy to use. They listened to my concerns and were quick to respond. I have had trouble getting my traditional gynecologist to even discuss HRT, much less prescribe it. Winona made it easy to discuss my concerns and help me get the HRT I have been seeking since going thru menopause.

I like the ease of getting the prescriptions. The estrogen cream has been life changing. No more night sweats, the anxiety has lessened, and the joint pain is greatly diminished. I had some headaches in the beginning, but those have eased.

I have been on various supplements for 2-3 years, and they all stop being effective with time. I am hopeful Wynona will remain as effective for me. Secondly, I like that my assigned doctor is responding to any questions I may have, which gives me another assurance. Thirdly, the process is very easy

I will admit I didn’t really know how much taking hormones would end up helping me. I sleep so much better, my brain is clear, I’m able to focus, and my vagina isn’t dry anymore, and even when I used lubricants sex was still painful, and now it’s not. Using this service was quick and easy, everything is sent to you in the mail. No extra run to doctors or pharmacy.
