DO NOT recommend! My assigned Dr cancelled my HRT and IGNORED my questions about it, and Winona has ignored my request for a new Dr!!
I filled out the questions and ordered products, but then was connected to a doctor who immediately cancelled my HRT order, citing that my rare autoimmune disease can have issues with HRT. But I have never heard this before from my specialist doctors, and the peer-reviewed research that I have seen about it says that HRT actually HELPS people with my condition- and people in my support groups have said the same thing! I have asked the doctor where he got that information and been completely ignored, and I have MULTIPLE TIMES asked Winona to assign me a new doctor and they haven’t done it - it’s been over a MONTH and NOTHING! Us women are ignored enough in the doctors office, it just plain ticks me off even more to be ignored by a company that claims to be a company to “help women”!! Even worse, after all of this they refuse to remove my payment information from their system!! Response to Winona’s company response- I would have understood if the doctor said that he wasn’t comfortable prescribing because he didn’t know enough about my condition and that I should see a doctor in person, but that’s not what happened at all. The doctor from Winona told me twice that HRT is not for women with my autoimmune disease because of a specific concern, but peer-reviewed research that I’ve seen suggests very different, and when I asked him about that he just repeated almost exactly what he said the first time and wouldn’t give any explanation as to how he came to that conclusion! Basically , your doctor probably didn’t have a clue what he was talking about, as many doctors don’t with many autoimmune diseases, but rather than admit that he didn’t know he ignored my concerns and talked down to me like so many doctors seem to do to us. There are many women in my support groups who have used HRT with excellent success, and research suggests it can also help with one of the most dangerous and most common complications of my disease! Worse yet, your chief medical officer parroted THE SAME LINE AGAIN rather than actually answer my questions as to where they got this information! So, no, I will not be taking down my 1 star review - I would give your company zero stars if that was an option. Also, I have already requested my credit card information be deleted from your system THREE TIMES, and it appears to still be there!

If you are diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder, then an online platform is not the best option for you to receive HRT. Our doctors absolutely care deeply about your health and well-being, but your diagnosis may necessitate more conservative and careful monitoring than we can provide for you. We do not prescribe to every woman, even though we would like to, but your safety is our top priority. Unfortunately, there are also other contraindications to HRT that must be taken into consideration for each woman. If we don't feel you are a good fit for our online platform, your Winona doctor will notify you of that. It does not mean that you are not a good candidate for HRT, but only that an in person provider will be a safer and better fit to monitor you more closely.
