It sounds like you were dealing with some of the more severe symptoms that menopause can bring about, so we are so happy to see that they subsiding now with treatment! Some symptoms, like hormonal weight gain, may take a year or more to manage, but you are heading in the right direction! We are so excited for you too, Toni! Hot flashes and night sweats can be some of the most annoying and unpredictable symptoms of the menopause transition. When you don't sleep well, you don't feel your best the next day, which then may trigger more hot flashes. Its a vicious cycle! It can take around 3 months for the body to respond to the increased levels of hormones, but if you are seeing changes now, we are confident you will feel even better as time goes on! Keep going! That is a big win, indeed, Melissa! Many factors around midlife may contribute to rising cholesterol levels, such as a sedentary lifestyle, an unhealthy diet, and weight gain. Unfortunately, a big factor in changing levels can also be related to the unavoidable drop in estrogen levels that occur during the menopause transition. Women may be doing everything "right", and still not be able to control their risk factors. We are thrilled that your treatment plan is helping to balance your hormone levels and that your cholesterol levels are improving! We apologize for any confusion regarding the automatic refill feature of your subscription, Jessica. Prior to finalizing your purchase, you were presented with a page outlining the terms of the subscription, including the automatic refill feature, and you proceeded to agree. Because HRT works best taken consistently over time, the purpose of this feature is to ensure that you do not run out of your medication before your next refill arrives. It often takes around 3 months to see changes in your symptoms as your body adjusts. We also ask you to complete a Follow Up around the 10 week mark to gauge your progress in case changes need to be made in your treatment plan. Patients are able to self-cancel within their portal at any time, but the Follow Up also gives you an opportunity to cancel. We see that you were refunded for your last refill and your account has been canceled without issue. We are sorry to see you go, but we wish you the best in your journey!
