Absolutely horrible. All provider messages and guidance (at least for me) was copied and pasted. Treatment was not tailored to me so it’s basically treating yourself and seeing what happens. I’d rather go get my labs drawn and address the actual issue instead of getting a broad, non specific treatment plan.

We appreciate you sharing your experience, customer. We're sorry to hear that you feel your treatment was impersonal, as that is not our intent at all! Each treatment plan is personalized, based on a woman's unique situation and severity of symptoms. There is not a one size fits all approach or standard dose. Blood hormone levels can vary greatly from day-to-day, so blood tests are not necessarily an accurate indication of what you might need. Bloodwork can appear "perfect" on paper, but you still may have symptoms. In accordance with The Menopause Society and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Winona does not require any type of bloodwork or hormone testing to be prescribed an HRT treatment plan. HRT is, therefore, prescribed based on symptoms and medical history. We want you to feel better, not necessarily "fix" your lab values. Because each treatment plan is personalized, it may take some trial and error to find the right combination and dose of hormones. Please be assured that all communications from your Winona doctor are managed by a dedicated, real licensed physician committed to providing you the best care and support. However to ensure the highest level of clarity, some information, such as dosing instructions, may seem standardized for efficiency and clarity. We understand how frustrating this might be, but please know we take your health and safety very seriously. We see that you just completed your Follow Up with your Winona doctor. If you are not happy with your current treatment plan, your doctor will be able to gauge your progress and make any needed adjustments.
