Awesome service. Awesome products. Fish are packed properly whether it be summer or winter. After about 5 orders with this company, I have never had any fish arrive DOA or die shortly after. They are also very responsive when/if you ask them questions about their products. Have ordered fish and daphnia from them. All are healthy and still going strong, and now actually have 5 generations of offspring from several of the fish in my initial order.

Thanks for the great review William! It's always a pleasure talking to you. I'm glad the fish are thriving under your care. 5 generations... WOW!

they shipped my fish right out on Monday and Tuesday morning I had 2 very feisty fish on my doorstep. only somewhat negative thing was I didnt get a notice or tracking number that they were coming so it was kind of a surprise when they showed up.
Response from Blackwater AquaticsFeb 21, 2024
Surprise! Jk. We usually add a tracking number to the order when we create the label but we're still working out some kinks to see if it'll notify customers automatically when shipped. Thanks for the great review!

I forgot to request for heat packs. They showed up a little lethargic, but after floating them in warm water they were fine.
Response from Blackwater AquaticsFeb 21, 2024
Hey Tony, sorry about the inconvenience. The weather probably got worse from when we looked it up. We're glad you floated them in warm water instead of tossing them away.
