This company is garbage. They get garbage and then they sell you the garbage. It's literally their business model. They're a garbage company, but instead of throwing their garbage away they sell it to you. They lie about msrp's when they're trying to make an auction look good, they start off auctions that they think they can scam you on at very very high prices like $500 for a stick of RAM. Half the stuff you get is going to be busted when it said new on the listing, the other half is going to be scuffed up or trash packaging or there's always just something wrong so you can't like resell any of what you get. I sense this company will not last long.

I have bought hundreds of items and have been happy but recently buywander is doing alot of bait and switch.they list something as appears new and they open and take pictures and when I open it its dirty and wet how is that l ok le new would have never bid. And now the big one they had 12 auctions for blue buffalo dog food 3pack of 5lb bags all auctions listed the same I bid and won one at 21.00 which is what 1 bag retails for but when I drive 1 hour to get to them and they say oh no thats wrong its only 1 bag and there are 8 active auctions while I'm at the warehouse say 3 packs. Good customer service would be take 2 more from the warehouse and give to me since you already have my money and bidder is have m ot paid yet and cancel 1 auction . But no they tell me return it and I drive home another hour with out my dog food beware they are doing this alot lately it bait and switch which is illegal and I'm going to report it to every agency that I can to stop them doing this I used to love buywander but now they are just crooks and scammers

Portland location. No signage or address marker on the road, must use GPS. Very difficult to find. The product I bought was a case of Beverages and they were expired in December of 2025 and it is now September of 2026. Total scam. Waste of gasoline. Do not waste your gas on food or beverage or anything else that would have a "best by" date. Luckily I got issued a refund email right away. Hopefully that will actually transmit to my bank. Not putting product expiration dates in the auction should be illegal.

This place is an absolute scam. They knowingly sell/auction broken, unusable items. Pictures and descriptions are misleading.

I made two separate orders about a week apart and their website asked me if I wanted to combine the order and their system asked for me to pick a new "pick-up date" and this morning I received an email stating that I received an refund for the items that I was due to pick up today. Obviously the Righthand does not know what the Lefthand is doing. There should not be an option to move your items to a new date if it is going to cause you to loose your items. So for example: The last date for me to pick up items was the 1st but on the first, you bid and win on other items. The system stated something about saving a trip and change the date to the following day which would have been on the 2nd and then on the 2nd, they issued a refund and kept the restocking fee. I was told that my situation did not allow a refund for restocking!!! Make that Make Sense!!!!!!

Bought an office chair there. Spokane office. Staff and service were great.

I highly recommend BuyWander Chicago. I go there almost every week to pick up the items I’ve won, and I have consistently had a good experience with the staff. Even when the pickup area is very busy and many customers are waiting, the roadside pickup team and the staff who carry and load the items continue to be friendly, patient, and helpful. They work very hard, often under pressure, and they always try their best to assist customers and keep the process moving. I especially hope the management recognizes the effort of these frontline staff. They are doing physically demanding work, dealing directly with customers, and helping to create a positive experience for people who come to collect their items. From what I have seen, they truly work hard and deserve to be appreciated, recognized, and fairly compensated for the contribution they make to the company. Thank you to the BuyWander Chicago team for your hard work and good service.

Sacramento now has a new office here and I was excited about the large amount of items they carry. I was so disappointed ! I purchased 12 items three were served bucket chairs that were not a great find. I spent $150 for gently used chairs . I drove one hour to pick them up . I spent 45 minutes in 102’ tempura only to have them row out one plastic container of items !! I said “ this is wrong I have 3 chairs I bought “ first they didn’t have it on their list ! I had to show them from my phone . So he told me to cross the road and ask the lady under the mad up 8x10 tent ( not even inside ) to look for my furniture . Another 10 minutes in this heat and she said “ looks like their LOST” what ?? How do you just Loose three swevil bucket chairs ? They didn’t spin there way out of their where house did they? I drove an hour away and $50 worth of gas in my hog of a truck to pick up 12 small items! I went for my chairs ! So they then said , wait a week to see if we find them , if not we can refund you then! I asked for something stating I didn’t pick them up so I can have a reference to it later ? They claimed to have sent me that info . They didn’t specify the details . I doubt they will be found ! On top of that, I bought a bottle of k18 hair mask for my hair ! I pull it out of the tapped box and it’s empty ! Completely empty ! I paid like $22 for an empty hair mask ! Needless to say, they are Jonny on the spot to charge you $2:00 a items if you can’t make your appointment time, but they can’t spend the time to make sure your order is complete before you arrive ? Maybe they should hire staff to go over all pulled inventory for the day and contact people when there order is not complete !! I think if they find your items maybe they should absorb the cost of deliver , after all , they lost the inventory ! Why should I spend another $50 and half my day to travel out again ! Maybe then they would be more careful of what goes in and out of their doors , because they know it will cost them money if they don’t !! I will never order from them again , and since I am a retailer , they lost a good customer ! I use another auction house in the area and never once did they not have my items when I came to pick up . They also had the one minute re-set clock for bidding , which that way you don’t have snipping at the last minute !! They are big enough to have beater customer support !! They suck big time ! Get it together , and stop getting so big and expanding in many areas , if you are not willing to improve the store you have open now ! Sooner or later it will be the end of your business , if you treat your base like puppets !
