BuybooksyReviews of buybooksy.com

My experience with Buybooksy was fantastic. I purchased a new textbook at a fraction of the cost of the same textbook on the Internet. When it arrived, it was packaged with care. I could tell because there was the plastic shipping envelope, a corrugated casing around the book, and finally a careful covering. I was really impressed!

The book was supposed to be in new condition and showed up damaged and the packaging looked like it had been run over and thrown out the back of a truck. I could not find a way to contact seller.

This website is a total scam - it's not legitimate. I ordered two books, but they only sent one old book. The print quality was terrible, with numerous misprints, and the books appeared to be counterfeit. I tried contacting them, but their phone number is unreachable, and it's clearly a dummy number. They are based in India, yet it's shocking how Google allows a website with fake addresses and false details to operate. Do not buy from them it’s a fraudulent site."

I bought 4 textbooks from Buybooksy to onsell. Unfortunately, a customer who bought one of the books complained that it was a fake, noting the thin paper and poor/fuzzy quality of the print. I never received a tracking ID, but when I requested one, I realised the package had originated in India even though the website provides an American-based head office and states that the company has over 260 bookstores in 32 US states. Since my purchase, I also note that there has been another authenticity complaint on Trustpilot. When I tried contacting the support email, I received no reply and the 'immediate' chat took 2 hours to reply to my query about the authenticity of their textbooks. Their answer was 'yeah sure'. The payment is also from a different company 'Allbook'. Their invoices also do not contain basic information of what you would expect an invoice to have (Company website / email / street address / phone number / Invoice number). If you're considering reselling textbooks, then I wouldn't recommend this company. There are just too many dodgy indications that it's not 100% bonafide. Having said that, if you want cheap textbooks and don't mind if they're not from authorised agents, then this could be your online store - although...lots of the other 1 star reviews are about them not delivering in a timely manner, so.....I'll leave it up to you.

I ordered my book almost 2 months ago. I emailed them asking for an update and they said it would come within 7 working days and it never did. Once I asked for a refund, they didn’t respond. Still no book.

I purchased books for the Nicet Fire Alarm level 1-2 exam. And I am extremely satisfied. Great pricing, availability, quality and fast shipping! Amazing customer service! Will order more books from them. Definitely recommend!

Received exactly what I ordered. Customer service was responsive as well.

Everything was great. I got the book fast with all the tabs. All the communication was fast and handled well.
