BuildZoomReviews of buildzoom.com

My tenant moved out and I needed to make repairs to my rental and remodel the kitchen and bathroom. I needed to find an experienced, reputable, licensed contractor to help with my project but didn't know anyone. I also wanted to have a quick turn around for the repairs and remodel. Brooke from Buildzoom came to my rescue! She referred 6 highly rated contractors within 24 hours, and I was able to accelerate selecting a contractor for my project. Buildzoom saved me valuable time and gave me peace of mind knowing that each contractor referred is knowledgeable, licensed, insured, and bonded. Furthermore, Brooke reviewed the contract to ensure that my interest is protected. I highly recommend Buildzoom for your next repair or remodeling project.

I just had my roof replaced by Energy Roofing. Angel is extremely helpful with the whole process. He communicated often and was willing to work with us every step of the way to get our roof done. He exceeded our expectations from the great service to the final product. We are speechless and eternally grateful. HIGHLY recommend.

Our house was destroyed by fire so I needed to find a builder to handle the rebuild. It's not something that I usually do, so I looked around at different project management companies and reached out to Buildzoom for help. I paid for the Premium service. The put me in contact with 3 different builders, which we met with and discussed our project. 2 of them were very good, but we chose one that had the most knowledge of our local codes and also got along very well with us. Sean and AJ from BuildZoom were great. Sean explained the process. They are milestone based payments, so if they don't deliver they don't get paid. They asked about the project and my needs, and did everything they could to meet those needs (cost, quality and time). AJ was in continual contact through the initial phases of the project. I have no doubt that they have saved me thousands of dollars, a lot of time and a lot of headaches. I highly recommend them - Paul.

If you’re looking for a seasoned, skilled builder possessing honesty, integrity, fantastic communication, and extreme attention to detail, we can highly recommend Jeff Gintoli. We are so impressed with the results of our home from the beginning of the design to the finish. Jeff gave expert advice based on his many years of building houses, preventing many mistakes we would have made. He kept us informed on the day-to-day progress and the schedule of upcoming important dates. Jeff has a team of quality sub-contractors he has worked with for years. He met all of the deadlines he gave us, which meant our house was built in a very short time with no lack of quality. He is pleasant and easy to work with listening to your needs and suggestions while giving his own suggestions when he feels they are needed. He was highly recommended by my realtor. We compared him to several other builders and looked at the quality of his homes before choosing him to build our home. He definitely met our expectations. Barbara and Steven Stoff

ZRM Builders did an absolutely fantastic job at transforming 5 very old and uncared for buildings into a contemporary seashore gem in Wildwood Crest NJ. The Seawyn Condos were beat up and tired stucco buildings with rundown wooden decks. ZRM applied a beautiful new surface. They cared enough to apply the new surface in the exact temperature needed for a sound job. Yes, we did have to wait for the right temperature for the men to do this work but it was worth the wait to get such an expert result. THANK YOU ZRM!!! The decks have been replaced with vinyl and recycled decking. The place looks terrific. Congratulations on a job well done especially during such trying times. I’m sure it was tough undertaking such a big job with Covid and all of the challenges it presented. Hats off to you, ZRM Builders, and a big THANK YOU from this very happy owner.

My experience using BuildZoom Premium service, was great. I was initially wondering whether the cost-value ratio would be worth it, but given the large scale of my project (~$400K), I took the leap. The guidance and added clarity my BuildZoom team (Jennie, Jacob, and Joe) added was absolutely worth it. Reviewing and evaluating contractor bids is not something I frequently do, so having an unbiased team working on my behalf gave me the confidence that I needed to ensure I understood the varying bids. The bid leveling that Jacob did was something I would not have been able to do myself. Our two top bids were more than $30K apart, and it turns out that the lower bid was missing substantial allowances that the higher bid had. Having someone working on my behalf to understand and level the bids was a big part of the value for me. As far as the way the team operated: absolutely top notch. They were professional, responsive, and gave me a great customer experience. That is exactly what I would expect when paying for a service like this, and they delivered with top marks. Overall, I would use BuildZoom again for a large scale project like mine. The experience they bring, dealing with contractors daily gave me the confidence I needed to know that I was making decisions with clear and complete information.

When I was looking for contractors to remodel my bathrooms I didn’t know where to start and google searches were not helpful. Luckily I found BuildZoom and their consultant was able to guide me through the process and I was able to get bids quickly from very qualifying contractors. Every time I had a question, BuildZoom consultant was there to support me and provided me their expertise which made the entire hiring contractor process very easy. I would highly recommend anyone looking for contractors and don’t know where to start to reach out to the company, I am glad I did.

As an architect, I needed a reliable builder for a project. Buildzoom helped me find one. It’s an excellent service.
