Since signing up with Buildium I have been able to stream line my business. The time it took to take care of checks, vendor requests and payments, owner statements etc has been cut by over half the time. The reports are awesome and my owners and tenants are thrilled which has turns into more and more referalls and a huge growth. Customer service is my number one goal and Buildium has made that goal easier!

I love Buildium. I have some tenants that pay weekly, bi-weeky, bi-monthly and monthly. This was my biggest draw to Buildium; they let me customize for each tenant.

This site is so easy to use and if you do get stuck the help videos are terrific. Customer service is excellent. I think its great that each report can be dowloaded in multiple formats and emailed out easily. My favorite feature is the abilty to allow landlords see what is going on with thier properties. Buildium just keeps getting better! Keep up the good work.

I have used this software to manage about 55 units. The system works so well I wish that they would develop a software system for car dealers ( my other business). All of the process are easy and intuitive. Countless reports in one click! All of my information in one place backed up and secured is well worth the cost. Truthfully I would pay double and still be a satisfied customer.

Buildium is the core of our business. It's our database for everything. Without it we would have to use multiple software programs, one for accounting, one for contact info, one for online tenant payments, one for background checks, the list goes on and on. We probably would end up doing double work. Everyday Buildium seams to develop for the better. We are so glad we found this all encompassing program!

Switched to Buildium about two years ago and have been very pleased with their services. For us (a small business) easy of use and tenant self-servicing are a big deal and Bulidum does an excellent job in both regards. Of particular note the integrated online payments for tenants, the maintenance request workflow, our internal monthly closeout and reconciliation/audit and 1099 processing are the big things we use. Since we own the property we manage we generally are less concerned about owner access to the records (as we see the records in Buildium by virtue of our role of managing the properties), but again Buildium has the functionality to support individual owner access where they can self service reports, financials, updates, etc. While I cannot really speak to this feature as we ourselves do not use it, I supect for those who are engaged in managing 3rd party property this is a very useful feature to have. Moreover since Bulidium itself is small business it's nimble and able to respond quickly to customer needs and suggestions (currently I am lobbying with other Buildium users to integrate a SMS option for communicating with tenants and Buildium is actually taking us seriously.) Anyways "small business" is rather hard to quantify in terms of an exact benefit but the fact they will take the time to listen to customers and implement their ideas is worth something...rather then being transferred to some far flung call center just to be ignored. Furthermore Bulidum is still operated by the initial founders who themselves own property and therefore have personal skin in the property management game. The only downside with Buildium is the (perhaps irrational) concern they'll be bought out by one of the big behemoths and we'll see the dynamic, intuitive software and culture replaced by something far worse. Hopefully that won't happen but considering the extent to which we use Buildium in our day-to-day operations, the thought of going through a migration worries me. Lastly we ourselves are about to jump from the single-family realm into the multifamily one and one and one of the main reasons we feel comfortable in doing so is that we have a tool as powerful - and scalable - as Buildium. tldr: Buildium is intuitive, run/developed by property managers themselves, and facilitates automation and tenant/owner self-servicing; the downside is what happens (if?) they are bought-out, sold, or the current leadership retire.
