We are just starting out. We looked at several other software programs and couldn't be happier that we chose Buildium. The program is very user friendly. The tutorial videos are a great way to get started. The articles pretty much walk you through any question; but if you need to speak to a human, the customer support is outstanding! These folks really know their product! They are professional and pleasant. I highly recommend this product!

Buildium has produced a great service that will help property managers save time and money! Not only is their product great but it's been priced extraordinarily well. The cloud feature is a brilliant idea as well so that the information is available anywhere in the blink of an eye. Whether for finding ideal tenants or making sure everyone has paid their rent, Buildium is the service you've been dreaming of.

I've been using Buildium for several years to manage my investment portfolio of small multifamily properties of 49 units. I have it setup for 2 users. An employee property manager and myself. We work from two separate locations so having an online management software is a must. The user level security features are broad enough to make sure I only have access to specific features while still maintaining program functionality. Here is a list of favorite features that are used regularly and I like about the program. The features listed mainly has to do with saving time and ultimately money. 1. The ability for tenants to pay online. I don't charge tenants a fee for processing payments online since it's such a time saver for us and it's a small price to pay for getting rent on time. I believe it actually saves money not having to spend time and gas tracking down rent. 2. The ability to store tenant leases and documents online so they can access their information. This saves us time and paper by not having to printout tenant leases or handbooks. The tenants can print themselves if needed. 3. Paying vendors electronically or by submitting a check through the system. Another time saver by not having to write a check, mail it and then post the entry manually in the system. Just enter it once and click the check mark that you want to pay by check and it sends the check or pays by eft. 4. The bank reconciliation module is very intuitive and my favorite feature is being able to type in the search field on screen and have it automatically filter by the amount or vendor name. It will just show what items have matched your criteria and when you remove the characters from the search field all your unreconciliated items appear on screen again. 5. The mailings feature allows you to make custom templates that match your required language and form format. They have most custom fields you'll probably need and the modification process is very easy. There are numerous other features that I like including the ability to click and add venders on the fly, one step process for adding new tenants to leases, built in simple to read report formats, shortcuts bar with most frequently used program items and the smartphone app that gives you basic information for tenants/leases and vendors. Buildium is constantly getting input from users on improving the application and have made great changes over the years. Their customer service is always very responsive. As a individual real estate investor, I would highly recommend their product.

Buildium is a full service program that is very easy to learn and to use. If there are ever any questions the support is outstanding and very fast. It is great to have immediate and accurate access to all my Tenants

A one stop shop for your real estate management needs. Now Buildium allows you to accept online payments for rent and applications. You can list units thru Buildium and run background/ credit checks thru Buildium. Posting pictures, leases and other correspondence allows a user to keep well organized. I am very impressed with Buildiums step in the right directions. Very innovative yet ingenious
