As of Jan 2020, Trying to reach Buildium and absolutely no response! We pay close to $800 a year with lots of units on this platform and they totally went silent in the past 2 weeks after my staff has tried to reach out to them on multiple occasions both via email and phone. You hold forever with a voice mail as your only option or just wait for email. Just ridiculous! Whats going on Buildium????

Is Buildium GOING OUT OF BUSINESS? Is anyone else having trouble getting hold of a human being at Buildium?!?!?!?!? I was on hold for 5 hours yesterday! Till the system disconnected me. No customer service agents available. I called the sales department and immediately a human answered. They were very nice but had no way of transferring my call to anywhere else in the company, not even a manger. It is day 2 now and no answer from Buildium. The sales line and the customer service line both have an automatic answer that there is a company meeting. My call is regarding the FORTE automatic payment system which has received funds from our renters but is not transferring funds to our account. I find it very suspicious that a company is: 1. Receiving funds for rent transactions but not paying the property company the rent. 2. The Customer support line is so busy that it can not answer calls. 3. The sales department answers immediately with a live person yet can not transfer a call to a service agent or a manager. 4. Sales can call me back directly the same day to up sell me a product while I am still having no call back form a manager or service agent. 5. I leave my contact number several times with a live person. Sales reaches me at my number yet I get an email from service that they can not reach me at a good number. 6. I send a reply email to service and give them my number that sales used to call me and I get a reply email from service that I need to supply a contact number. 7. I called Buildium a second day and now the customer service line and the sales line both have a recording that everyone is in a meeting. What is going on?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. It is extremely user-UNfriendly. The system goes down regularly, so you cannot get any work done. The customer service people are knowledgeable, IF you have a problem during their limited business hours, and have the patience to wait for a callback for a few hours. I would not recommend this program to anyone. We are a small property management firm and we need reliable service.

This software program and customer support is terrible. I have been paying since July, 2019 and it is now December, 2019 and I have not been able to go "Live" with the program. Essentially I have paid over $1300 CDN for NOTHING. I plan or proceeding with a law suit against this company. DO NOT USE!!!

Horrible customer service for a lot of money. Hasn't taken my applicants credit card for months but they still want to charge $700 a year when the system is broken. Snarky customer service, even though I cancelled and theywon't return my fees for the next year. Don't even begin to think about using them.

Crappy guys in development does NOT listen to customers concerns. Beware! they will NOT LISTEN TO YOU. "We will look into it and suggest it to development, but no guarantee they will implement your needs" 414 909 3279 call me before you purchase. I'll give you my experiences

In my opinion, Buildium used to be great. Others in my office have felt that buildium has gone down hill. I was always an advocate of Buildium until recently, when i started seeing the same. The application process has been trash since i started my leasing season this year around October 1st.The credit cards do not process, get rejected, or the card information just doesnt show up. My applicants type all of the information in and then it vanishes. It is now November 11th and nothing has been changed. Yes, they still send me all these things and ask me to write reviews. You know you have not fixed my problem, so why ask me to write you a review? Isn't that like shooting yourself in the foot? I am with everyone else who has posted a negative review on technical support. I have to reach out multiple times to get a response, if i do finally get one it is worthless to me. Will continue to explore other options for software providers.

As a "manager" of a small self-managed strata, I really never got into the "buildium" way of doing things...and got behind on my book keeping. I did get my account back up and then my card changed and the account was de-activated again. Apparently the terms changed and this time....no data, it was erased.That alone is worth the 1 star. But, in general I thought the system was clunky and the service was poor, and it nevered handled GST for Canadian commercial buildings (like mine!). Waited on hold for 55 minutes for support (sales was 1 minute, lol, suckers line up is always shorter) to be told we wiped your data. How much effort / cost to archive it......probably near zero.....which is how much they valued my data.
