Ability to create own reports, like with Crystal Reports, would be very beneficial

As people are turning away from email, wish you had more ways to use text without opt in, for example. Also would really like to have a way to notate a lease that we know won't be renewed due to a) our decision and b) tenant decision.

Everything works pretty well the majority of the time except the texted code for entering the site. Sometimes it takes an hour or 2 to get one. My admin can opt me out but the next day, I need to do the code thing again

Generally very easy to use and I love the constant improvements. Biggest issue is calculation of management fees. I have to check every property's management fees every month to make sure owners are not overcharged. Very time consuming.

Program is great but they try to make money on add on services. To get a customer site you need to pay $$$ as the default one looks ok but is stuck in the 90s. With other programs they give you access to source code so you and use word press to create a customer public site. The internal software is great tho.

I wish it would quicken up the process of accepting payment thru retail outlets like walmart. Other compoanies have done it and are going ahead providing more convenience to the renters.

Excellent program. Customer support is great. I gave 4 stars because they are slow to implement changes that the customers indicate are a priority. They are several quirky items unique to Buildium (like a lengthy prepaid rent liability process or rigid lease renewal process that doesn’t work for all situations) that they acknowledge needs attention but they haven’t fixed. Tech support often tells me “ we get a lot of requests for that” or “it’s on our radar” but a lot of things remain the same. That said, they are constantly improving. I personally find the biggest weaknesses to be work orders, prepaid rent, lease renewals and e-leases. I have to use a spreadsheet or 3rd party systems for those.
