I have had 2 stairlifts installed about 2 1/2 years ago, and spent over $10K to do so. 1 inside and 1 outside. I've had nothing but problems since they've been installed. It started with main mother board replacement, safety switches on the seat, short circuit causing the GFI to pop, corroded wiring and connectors, and replacement of charging sensors when chair is in the up and/or down locations. The latest is the remote boxes for the outdoor chair, which, buy the way, have been kept indoors, and not exposed to thr weather at all. I thought it was a simple battery replacement...but no. I replaced the batteries in both, and couldn't get either one to work. I even checked the batteries with a multimeter to be sure it wasn't the batteries. Trying to contact a rep. a Bruno has been difficult as well. When I finally was able to reach someone, the agent was kind enough to extend my warranty because of my problems and experience. However, it continues to anger me that I need to call the local dealer all to frequently to fix something, and there's been occasions when a chair has been down for the weekend without getting repaired until Monday. And now I'm forced to pay a $150 minimum labor charge even though Bruno had extended warranties. I went with Bruno because I beleive in buying USA made products, but the reliability and workmanship just isn't there. I should have went with Acorn. I'm sorry it has to come to this to get someones attention, and to make my situation right because this isn't like me.

all the assembly screws are loose critical bolts were loose and have vibrated out and are lost. I have not been able to use my chariot from the day of delivery. One of the main bolts on the platform was lost while I was driving. it was my good fortune I didn't have my chair on the chariot. A technician will come out to service my unit Wednesday. I am very , very unhappy.

We got a SRE-3000 Elan installed in December 2015. After twelve months of operation the battery had to be replaced. Then in early March 2018 it all of a sudden it stopped working at mid-course while I was riding upstairs, a horrifying and dangerous experience for a paraplegic like me. The problem was traced to a faulty controller board. Now on April 20 2018, a month later and after having thrown $ 600 at it for repair, the same thing has happened again leaving me stranded and unable to go to my bedroom.
