Three years ago, I purchased a Harmar and thought it would be an excellent product. Unfortunately, it never worked right. After several service calls within warranty, Harmar replaced the entire unit at no charge. The rail remained the same. The new lift was noisy and continued to develop several problems where the unit would often just stop for no apparent reason. After I worked to try to get the unit to recharge, I kept it working off and on for another 6-8 months. Finally, I decided it was not worth it and was able to trade it in to the same company that sold me the Harmar and purchased the Bruno Elan. Immediately, the Bruno worked very well and is so quiet compared to the Harmar that I was shocked. After a month and a half, I love the Bruno. I am now wondering if the Harmar rail was not installed properly. Whatever the problem, I would highly recommend the Bruno as a superior product and well worth the investment. John
