Purchased and installed straight stair lifts for my mom. One of the stair lifts has a folding section to accommodate for space around the stairs. Since installation, the folding section has already been replaced once due to some sensor issue. 2 weeks back the folding arm again stopped functioning correctly and the stair lift rammed into it, causing the entire unit to be non-functional. We are having to pay for hours of labour to AGAIN replace the faulty unit. Very bad experience with this brand, a lot of inconvenience caused to my mom and I will not recommend it to anyone.

My stairlift was installed on July 10 by T & T Technologies and they did a great job in the installation. When I went to try it out and as I swung around the banister my knees hit the wall and the front door. I opened the front door and tried again and my knees were sticking out the door about 3 inches. TNT came back on July 27 with a plate to move the seat back a little bit but it didn’t solve the problem completely, now they plan on coming back with another modification. I’ve been having to ride it sideways, going up and down the stairs. And then on August 15 I rode the stairlift upstairs to take a nap around 1 PM. About two hours later I woke up and got on the stairlift to go downstairs. When I hit the power switch all I got was a beep. And I checked all the connections and turned the power off and back on and that did not solve the problem is. I called Charles at TNT on 16 August, and he tried to talk me through a solution. I was getting too many codes on the screen. I received a call from T&T on the 17th and they said they would call me back on the 18th and tell me when they could come fix it. They called me on the 18th and have scheduled Charles to come on 22 August. I was told Charles was bringing another piece to adjust the seat so that perhaps I could sit on it normally instead of sideways while going up and down the stairs. I’ve gone approximately a week without the stairlift. I would be a lot happier if I could sit normally instead of sideways on the seat. As you can well imagine I’m not very happy. T&T, however, has been a great company to deal with!!!

Had a problem shortly after installation of my Bruno Elite. The stairs made a loud clicking noise when I used the stairlift. The dealer sent a service person and they concluded that the noise that the stairlift was making was from my stairs that need to be reinforced. I hired a contractor to reinforce my stairs, but the noise persisted. I filled-out a service request from the factory and received a notice that my request was in escalation status. On June 12, 2023 the factory responded saying they would contact me shortly--in a day or so. Not hearing from them for 10 days, I sent a request as to when I could expect to hear from them? It is now August 5, 2023, with NO word from the factory--this was an escalated response?? DON'T BUY--NO SUPPORT!

I already wrote a message to the president of Bruno chair lift. I actually had the chair removed at my own expense because I was so unhappy with the performance of the chair .I still have no response!

Contacted Bruno about trying to get service for the Bruno chairlift that was installed in 2005. The ma and pa shop that I purchased chair from no longer is allowed to sell or service Bruno products; Bruno pulled their contract because they didn’t sell enough chairs. I was given three service companies. When I called, one wouldn’t come until the middle of Feb. because I didn’t buy the chair from them, one wanted pictures of the chair and would charge a $225.00 service charge and one told me over the phone that my chair needed parts and Bruno no longer make parts for my chair.; it is too old so I would need to purchase a whole new chairlift. I called Bruno back and they said they would escalate my concern to the escalation department. Haven’t heard from them since that phone call on Jan. 4, 2023. I called a company that sold batteries for chairlifts, a pleasant man help me and I got batteries delivered to my front door for less than $50.00 and had a handyman put the batteries in the chair for $30.00 and the chair works beautifully. I wouldn’t recommend buying a Bruno chair, service is awful and expensive.

Three months ago Bruno wrote that they"are attempting to connect" with me. (see their email below). As yet, no voice or email message has arrived. Enough said about their "customer support." I’ve had my Bruno chair a few months and the track made a grating sound as it descended. Repair person came to fix it along with an office personnel. They tightened everything, said there was 'play' in the base it attached to in our home. I was Incensed when I was told there would be “ no charge, this time.” My reply,” I should think not, when it’s a top of the line product, I’ve had it a very few months, and the price charged for the unit, initially.”. Not impressed. Plus I feel it isn’t all that stable a fix, having had the repair a week ago, I will wait and see. Regards, Sherry D.

Well I’ve had my stairlift now for I guess over a year now very shortly after getting it One day it seemed to quit working , a technical came out got it working again this Is the 3rd time this has happened it comes down the stairs but won’t go up more than Inch at a time . Hopefully I’ll get it fixed this Time permmantly
