I recently had a stairlift installed, I am 95 years old and on November 30th last year I fell and fractured my ankle. Until then I have been as any 50 year old would get around. I have a two story house and live alone. I am a very independent person and do everything on my own, except house cleaning, I have that done because my house is a lot to do. I had the stairlift which I was not happy to admit I really needed, installed and it was the best thing I could have done. I did not want to move to a one floor hotel, I did not want assisted living or anyone living with me, so it was my choice. I made the right one, I really enjoy my stairlift but I have one fault with it, it is entirely too slow. I still have a lot of youth in me and when I am going up or down I want to get there now, however the lift is a little slow but I understand its necessary. Most people are more incapacitated than I am and slowness is needed, other than that I say it is the best decision I could have made at this time in my life. The Bruno Elan is good looking, quiet, smooth, and, when folded, does not obstruct the stairway. My only complaint is that it is too damn slow! I am a former jet fighter pilot and own a Camrey that will go 165 mph. Is there a modification that will get me up the stairs in less than a minute. I can still walk the stairs faster than the Elan. I'm 90 years old, but not dead yet.

The Bruno solution came highly recommended. The chairlift is performing very well, exceeding expectations. A God sent for my wife who until it was installed, was stuck on the main floor of our home. Bottom line, it is a game changer. The installation team from Canada Care was very professional, efficient and friendly.

The chair lift has allowed my 95 year father to come to our home frequently. Every time he comes he chuckles that it is so easy to climb 12 stairs! The ride is smooth, it works exactly as explained every single ride. The chair folds nicely giving us room to climb the stairs when not in operation. We wish we had installed it years ago!

Yes, it is an eye sore. Yes, it can be a pain when you want to walk up the steps and you didn't fold it up because you are afraid your mother will still try to walk down the stairs (she has dementia), yes it is a pain to have to repeat over and over what it is to her and how she needs to work it, but OMG! I am SO HAPPY with this product. I only wish I bought it years ago. I LOVE IT! Not only for the comfort of knowing I can get my mother up the stairs, but also for me. It is hard for me to carry my clean clothes up the stairs, and now I don't have to! The chair lift does it for me. But I am digressing. This is a great product. It is quiet and the color blends in with my white walls so it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. Another plus is that there is little damage when installing the product which will disappear when removed (the rug will fill in the holes). Everyone I know or meet that has problems with the stairs I recommend your product. Thank You!

It is very helpful getting us up and down the basement.

My husband is having difficulty with fatigue and keeping his balance. Going up and down the 13 steps of stairs was a major problem for his. We had the Bruno Stair Lift installed about 5 weeks ago and what a difference in the situation with my husband. So much easier for him to enjoy both levels of our new home. I have also become aware of less strain on my legs while using the Stair Lift. Thanks for taking care of people with disabilities managing stairs.
