Switch on swivel of chair does not always allow the chair to move. The foot rest switch activates with my feet over the edge of the footrest. These appear to be a quality and design issue.

This is more of a review of the dealer but partly of the manufacturer Bruno. When we ordered our stair lift on 3/19/25 the dealer told us they don't stock the unit, it takes 7 to 10 business days to get the unit and then installation within 1 to 2 days. On 3/20/25 we received a call that the dealer had a unit in the warehouse and installation was scheduled for 3/21/25. The gentleman arrived to do the installation on 3/21/25 and after about 2 hours he had bad news. The chair he had was for the right side and ours was on the left side. So, he left with the track installed awaiting a chair. We called a number of times to see when they expected to have the chair, but no one could give us an answer (evidently the person who normally does this was on vacation then sick). Installation was eventually completed on 4/10/25, 16 workdays after purchase. Most frustrating about this was lack of communication from the dealer, we could deal with installation about twice as long as "promised". After installation was complete, we found some grease spots on the stair carpet and the unit seems noisy (like a "quiet locomotive"). We didn't contact the dealer immediately but have waited a while to evaluate operation. The chair seems to be a bit wobbly, and we will be contacting the dealer in the near future.

I purchased this for my ill wife and unfortunately, we used it a week or so five times total maybe and she passed away when I called my installer and thought maybe I could get half my money back he told me no not even close not even a buyer that he had four sets of used had I been informed of that I probably would've bought a used one nevertheless I don't mind anybody making a profit. That's what they're in business for But if there is a market for used, you would think that maybe I could get 40% back.

Since our dealers are independent businesses, each makes their own decision regarding whether they repurchase stairlifts and at what price. You may wish to call multiple Bruno dealers in your community.

After installation, the Stairlift required a return visit from the installers. The stairlift was preset from the Manufacturer and was extremely sensitive and wouldn’t go up and down the steps. The Stairlift still requires repositioning to go up or down the steps.

ride is very bumpy when changing sections, support brackets are very unsightly

the stair lift works well but the the feet on the bottom did not hold and slid to the left scraping the floor. The dealer came and put a small rubber plug under the second foot but I don't think it will hold
